1. Steven is away too naive, even as a teenager, he literally doxxed himself to the entire universe in the movie, in fact his decision making is so brain dead that im sure he has a very minor case of serious brain damage.

2. no problem with people being gay/fat/whatever but they literally use this to drive characters with no other motive, example being pearls obsession with pink diamond, being treated like shit and abandoned, then we get the whole "i dont need her" arch, only for pearl to fall back in love with a person who literally treats her like shit and the whole arch be thrown away in less than a minute and zero justification of why.

3. good point but the show turned every generic "space nazi" into good guys just by steven basically saying "ding dong your opinion is wrong" and the space nazi magically says "ok" and joins them.

all except for the diamonds at the end of the SU movie, for literally no consistent reason other than "pink bad, we help now" and this change coming out of literally nowhere, when they are literally opposed to changing at all.

4. true but bismuths whole "revolution" plot gave off a "race war" feel, bismuth is coloured black and bismuth hates white diamond, bismuth also isnt the only character to be coloured and that used as a plot point.

remember when garnet and amethyst fused creating that giant impulsive monster? yeah, that and the character "concrete" who was cut from the show entirely for obvious reasons. another 2 examples of colour being used to forward a plot.

1. the entire character of steven with his "anyone can be forgiven" ideological shit, not EVERYONE can be, the diamonds are literal space nazis and steven literally tries to justify their actions.

Another flaw with this show is how they tried to use ''Artistic freedom'' when making the storyboards, and since they just don't use model sheets, the characters tend to change their size between episodes without any logical reason, one example of this is how Steven will be shown as taller then a kitchen counter in one episode, and he'll need a stool to use it in another, people could make excuses that the Gems can change size due to their shape-shifting powers, but no excuses can really be made for the Human characters.
