Have you made any changes to the usage of vitamine B complex for treating pale skin? Cannot administer vitamines in most departments which is VERY odd. Just looking for the 'culprit' and what can be done without destroying my save file.
corady 12 May, 2024 @ 2:24am
german pls!
Shuishuo 26 Apr, 2024 @ 4:23am
It doesn't look real to use the emergency department for health screenings and vaccination.
Linapix 16 Apr, 2024 @ 7:30am
Hi, I've translated the mod into French, how can I send it to you?
shipka 29 Mar, 2024 @ 11:59am
I have never translated mods and I don't know how to do it technically, but if you give me the text, I will translate it into Russian. :steamhappy:

Here is the current German localization for the Medical Procedures Version 0.0.5.0v

Medical Procedures GER Version 0.0.5.0v [drive.google.com]
LionelCG 25 May, 2023 @ 3:40am
@Brodigo, I don´t think so but you need Community Ressource Pack installed.
Brodigo 24 May, 2023 @ 4:03pm
Hello, this mod requires Infectious Diseases DLC?
LionelCG 17 May, 2023 @ 4:24pm
Hi James,
I am about to do a German localization. Will you add that to the mod once done?
LFMarcondes 9 Nov, 2022 @ 5:32pm
Need some help to translate to portuguese (Brazil)?
dr.desastro 29 Jan, 2022 @ 6:12am
Hey, no worries. You are a modder and do such stuff for leisure and for free so you are not obliged to anything nor are we entitled to something. I appreciate your work. This mod made the game better and I hope you will both iron out flaws and expand it over time. I have found another bit that might be of interest to you: I believe this also examination hails from the Medical Procedures Mod as it includes the check-ups and vaccinations. For the 'Disease' Respiratory Checkup, the Symptom 'Respiratory Checkup Appointment' lacks the description text in tooltip stating !LOC! SYM_JM_PULMONOLOGIST_CHECKUP_APPOINTMENT_DESCRIPTION instead of understandable text, when hovering over the symbol. Care to give it a look?
James  [author] 29 Jan, 2022 @ 5:47am
@dr.desastro I apologize for the inconvenience
James  [author] 29 Jan, 2022 @ 5:46am
@dr.desastro Yeah, I know, but I'll try my best and figure out a way
dr.desastro 28 Jan, 2022 @ 4:45am
This is not the answer I hoped for but I will try. I hope the problem will not persist because I only have ER to send them back to.
James  [author] 27 Jan, 2022 @ 9:40pm
@dr.desastro I think you could just send the patient to any other department and give them anti-depressives. It has worked with other mods so, I'm pretty sure it does
dr.desastro 26 Jan, 2022 @ 4:17am
Well, the odd thing is, for Insomnia, one could even prescribe antidepressivals at emergency clinic.
James  [author] 25 Jan, 2022 @ 6:03pm
@dr.desastro The anti-depressives code is by the developers. I didn't change the code of it, but I don't really understand either. I'll find a fix for it, if I can
dr.desastro 25 Jan, 2022 @ 10:14am
Post Covid Checkup is an Internal Medicine clinic-level disease. However, I cannot fully treat it as the antidepressivals cannot be prescribed at an internal medicine doctor's office. I need general surgery or neurology which I do not have. Is this from your code or did another mod change it while working together with yours? I mean: why general surgery? I can understand neurology for antidepressivals and would understand internal meds for curing one of its own diseases.
dr.desastro 25 Jan, 2022 @ 10:11am
Did you add a disease called Post Covid Checkup?
Alanzot 5 Jan, 2022 @ 6:31pm
Oh, ok no worries. Thanks for responding.
James  [author] 5 Jan, 2022 @ 5:53pm
@Peter Benton, that seems to be really difficult to do, since diagnoses occurrence rate is at 100% and it is the maximum. So if I were to override all of them, not only it'd be time-consuming but also likely to break if the game updates the diagnoses or you use another mod that does the same overriding
Alanzot 5 Jan, 2022 @ 5:42pm
Question, how do I increase the probability so I can see more patients from this mod?
James  [author] 15 Dec, 2021 @ 7:55pm
@visagie.albert @SkifAlef @raistlin46
So sorry for the super late response, life's been busy now, and I'm trying to get back fixing my mods.

So regarding visagie's problem, I think it might be on my side, please excuse the bug. I'll try and address it as soon as possible. ^^ glad you enjoy the mod!

SkifAlef, that would make more sense, but it still works. If you want me to change it, then I'll try and tweak it up

Thank you for the offer raistlin46, so so sorry for late response. You can translate the mod right after I update this mod.
visagie.albert 18 Nov, 2021 @ 11:01am
Hi, just installed the mod last night and really enjoyed the added gameplay. However, I think I found a bug? During the normal annual consult/examination, the game did not give me the option of performing the blood pressure. As I understand, this might rather be a problem with the CRP?
SkifAlef 31 Oct, 2021 @ 3:58am
Great mod. I think though that vaccination treatments are more logical to be procedures than receipts, aren't they?
raistlin46 20 Oct, 2021 @ 3:34pm
Hello. Congratulations on a great job. Maybe I could be of help for the Italian translation. How can I do it?
Mumbolian 28 Jul, 2021 @ 4:54am
Hi James, really appreciate the offer. I already restarted. Good luck with it all.
James  [author] 28 Jul, 2021 @ 1:45am
@Mumbolian Hi, sorry that i didn't state that my mods are locked in. If you would like to have the mod removed. I can gladly make a mod purely to remove this one, just let me know if you would like that. Sorry for the inconvenience
Mumbolian 27 Jul, 2021 @ 6:23am
So this mod can't be uninstalled without breaking the save file? You should mention that on the description, now I need to restart my game.

The idea sounded cool, but I'm not convinced this is balanced cost vs time wise and I don't want to put 30 hours into a save to discover it's screwed later on.
James  [author] 30 Jun, 2021 @ 11:11pm
Hi Everyone! A new update has just been released, adding Post-COVID Checkups, Vaccine Follow ups and COVID Vaccinations (Such as AstraZeneca and Pfizer). @ProHolmes The Insulin bug has been patched! Hope you all enjoy the update :D
James  [author] 27 Jun, 2021 @ 2:17am
@solospn Thank you very much! :D Have a good day!
solospn 27 Jun, 2021 @ 1:19am
Thank you, friend, for the alignment of the situation. We will wait for enthusiasts who know both languages and we will be grateful to them. Thank you for the mod, too. Thumbs up, issued .:letsgo:
James  [author] 26 Jun, 2021 @ 8:25pm
Hello @solospn! Unfortunately there is a lot of text and it might be a little difficult to understand. No one has wanted the translate yet :steamsad: . I cannot use Google Translate because it might not be accurate.
solospn 26 Jun, 2021 @ 11:09am
Привет! В моде сильно нужен именно русский язык? Текста много там? Или можно и без перевода разобраться ? Ну и всё такое..) :steammocking:
James  [author] 17 May, 2021 @ 4:47pm
@ProHolmes, that is something I can't do about unfortunately :steammocking: Maybe you can imagine he/her has certain healthy vitamin levels with B12 deficient.
ProHolmes 17 May, 2021 @ 8:44am
https://prnt.sc/131impy I'm not sure that game mechanics allow to do something with it, but now it just ridiculous XD.
ProHolmes 17 May, 2021 @ 1:28am
Thank you for your reply, James! Great mod, by the way.
James  [author] 16 May, 2021 @ 6:06pm
Hello @ProHolmes ! Thank you for reporting this bug. For the Diabetes symptom, I recommend you to just remove the Insulin Treatment for now. A small patch will come up soon
ProHolmes 15 May, 2021 @ 7:02am
Addition. It happens if i send them to general surgery. Even if their "diagnoses" depends to surgery department. Thouse who are sent to internal are ok. Other strange thing, thouse guys who lesf don't dissapear from the list and I can switch theid department. When i switch it to internal then "return" and being succesfully treated.
Hovewer they've been counted as untreated patients within the statistics.
ProHolmes 15 May, 2021 @ 6:56am
I have problems with patient coming in for a checkup. Thouse who are in emergency and was diagnosed with diabetes symptom.
I send them to either internal or general surgery department to give them insulin which is impossible within emergency department. But then they just leave my hospital untreated.
James  [author] 7 May, 2021 @ 10:54pm
@tanyfilina Ah, it's fine. I will lower the occurrence rates of these complication symptoms alongside with the extra symptoms requiring blood tests. Thank you for using this mod!
tanyfilina 7 May, 2021 @ 10:37pm
Sorry, I've already started new game. The problem with insurance payment for checkups is that it is Ok when it is a simple check-up, but it cannot change in-game when a severe symptom is found and surgery is needed. Missing icons were not in the symptom list, but in the pop-up "clouds" which indicate actions taken by doctors, or examinations to which patients go.
James  [author] 7 May, 2021 @ 9:38pm
@tanyfilina Hi! Thank you for your feedback, the insurance payment for checkups can be easily changed in no time. I would like to ask, which symptoms have missing icons?
tanyfilina 7 May, 2021 @ 8:59pm
The idea is great, but I'm unsubscribing for now. While vaccination helps, but check-ups take far too much time for a small reward. Especially in cases when it happens that surgery is needed. And contradictory symptoms too. And also some missing icons, but that is a very little problem.
James  [author] 29 Mar, 2021 @ 12:40am
@SEAFIISH I really can't do anything about Sedentary Lifestyle and Healthy Lifestyle to not let both of those symptoms appear, same as for the Healthy BMI and Overweight symptoms due to script modding limits. Maybe you could imagine it as in between the two? Also for the some of the special checkups, they do contain complications that you'll have to treat (and yes this mod adds the dietary checkup). According to the sources for magnesium deficiency, it requires a blood test to diagnose it. I can't speed up the blood test in anyway. Unless I override the exam, which would cause incompatibility with Bedside Examinations. Unless I decrease the symptom's time that leads to collapse. The minimum for that would be 0.1. I can change it if you'd like! I hope I answered all your questions :D
minimumstats 28 Mar, 2021 @ 9:57pm
is this the one that adds "dietary checkup"? i had a patient come in for this, but then started having seizures and went into a coma as a complication of their magnesium deficiency - pretty surprising, but i suppose it could happen. frustrating since i had to wait for blood tests to complete before i could treat it, though. having simultaneous "sedentary lifestyle", "healthy lifestyle", "healthy bmi", "overweight/obese" symptoms, a bit stranger
James  [author] 6 Mar, 2021 @ 8:17pm
@Oberkampfkater Thanks for the feedback! I'm happy that you enjoy the mod :D
Oberkampfkater 6 Mar, 2021 @ 2:09am
Hoi James,

I'm just stopping by to leave a big "Thank you for this amazing mod!". It adds a lot of enjoyable content to game. Those more mundane things like check-ups and vacciantions are a nice break from the more 'Dr. House' moments. ;)
dogememe50 18 Feb, 2021 @ 9:56pm
@James ok no problem thank you! :) keep up the hard work!
James  [author] 18 Feb, 2021 @ 9:53pm
@dogememe50 Unfortunately, I just realised the game doesn't allow the Reception exam to be used or it will cause errors, so I unfortunately can't do this
