Iron armor?

I utterly love this mod, thank you so much for making it ^^ I am a big fan of realistic armors.

Yay, now women of Skyrim don't have to have their boobs deflecting an axe blow to the center of their chest making enemy weapons more deadly to themselves rather than their armour actually protecting the chest

@Black: While I disagree with that, if you only want the Imperial armor replaced than get the mod from Skyrim nexus. It's in the description.

the imperial armor look after that mod truely better.
BUT everything else looks worse after the mod. So you have none of the fact that you play female character instead of male.

Thank you for this, now they look much more cooler and more like a warrior, a warrior is a warrior, there is no need for something diferent for each sex, just like happens in modern times, plus is more practical.

Finally no more boobplate! Crazy to see some comments here but I'm just grateful to not have these weird melons on my chest piece

I know it's a fantasy game but I sure appreciate some realism in fiction and this mod makes armor as it is in real life. Thank you!

here's the thing, dumbass: this isn't what armour looks like in real life. it's not women wanting to be less feminine, it's armour being practical and functional.

Pfft, to each their own I guess. Personally I find it odd, women wanting to be "less" feminine. I always thought that having the opposite sex being attracted to you was a good thing, not an "impractical" thing. who knew?

I recall this one time way back when, a girl I knew who played hockey, she was asking around about borrowing a set of shoulder pads (which also have chest protectors built onto them). I offered her mine, to which she replied "Nope, those won't do, I need ones with proper cups that will protect my tits"... which to me says that armor, like sports equipment, absolute should be shaped for women.

And of course yes, I'm a guy who enjoys the sexiness of Skyrim when playing. Thus I'm of course going to be labelled a pig, for finding attractive women in flattering armor... attractive. Crazy world we live in.

If boobplate annoys you, this mod is a must. I wish the vainilla game offered the choice but since it doesn't, I was very happy to find this.

I've been reading these coments and people seemed to be forgetting about the GLADIATRIX; a women who wanted to prove herself needed to go into an area and fight almost naked and beat men and animals with more fighting experience than herself.
Yes, I indeed know that women can fit into normal armor because Boobies are so Squishy...but that would take away the best part of this game!

I love this mod, it's always bothered me that even heavy plate armor was basically vacuumed-sealed to the womens' tits. scrolling through the comment section was a joy too. Most of the guys complaining about this mod don't seem to grasp that boobs are squishy and can be compressed to fit into sensible armor that won't kill them with a glancing blow

This looks great, but don't have the DLC and the download size from the nexus page is too large to access without a paid subscription :(. I just want my Housecarl tank to look like she's wearing armour, and on guys, ancient nord looks seriously solid. I spent ages putting a set together, but her back's completely exposed (absolutely not "heavy" armour....) in vanilla and the male breastplate is replaced by.... some kind of brooch? It is now almost inevitable that I will buy the DLC out of irritation. It's bad enough with the forsworn armour, but at least that's supposed to be "lght".

Breastplates that accomodate boobs like that actually have a pretty good chance of breaking your sternum, which can kill you very easily. A flat chestplate is ideal for any kind of warrior, regardless of their gender. Anyone with a brain and researching skills would know that. This is just to make armors look much more practical, calm down.

I love how a bunch of dudes are going "ew political correctness" because their only experience with women is porn, but in actuality, boobie armor would be more uncomfortable and would DIRECT SWORDS INTO YOUR STERNUM. Not to mention break your sternum if you ever took any kind of front-facing fall.

Can't give someone an option to give practical armor to women without trolls coming out and harassing you for being an enemy of manhood. Oh well, thank you for the work you put in. Once I get the nexus mod manager in order I'll be sure to install it.

YES! ARMOR THAT WOULDN'T BREAK YOUR STERNUM THE MOMENT YOU TOOK A GLANCING BLOW TO THE CHEST! YUSH! seriously boobplate is stupid, it's a lot like those terrible misshapen handles on fantasy swords, it might seem like something that couldn't really do any harm but it puts unreasonable amounts of force on your bones the moment it takes the lightest hit... plus people usually wear some thick cloth and chain underneath armor which would compress the chest too much for the boob room to even be useful. anyways, nice mod!

There's kinda broken texture in Nordic Carved Armor where joint between shoulder and chest plate. Plate is kinda streching too much. I loved the female Ancient Nord Armor by the way good work.

I think that this should be set up so that you have a choice what armors have their look changed, for example if some one wanted just the nordic carved armor to look like the "male version" and the rest to say the same then they could.(this could be done using SkyUI instead of Nexus)

This is perfect, my female characters finally get the respect they deserve, thank you. (and now they can actually use two handed weapons without clipping!)

you are correct in all but the last statement... the reason boobplate is lethal is because it cracks the sternum even before a piercing attack could penetrate the armor from the force of any melee weapon.

There were actually real medieval breastplates that had hollow spaces in the form of boobs. Waether it was fasion or to confuse an enemy we do not know. There have even been parts of an armor found that used to be in the crotch area of male knights in the shape of a stiff twigg and berrys. Armor was rearely only to fight in. It used to be more of a status symbol.

Historically speaking, "boob plate" armor would not only look stupid, but would actually probably kill the wearer. Plate armor is designed to deflect attacks, not simply stop them in their tracks. That being said, cleavage on a breastplate would actually funnel any piercing attacks from spears, arrows, swords, etc. right into the one spot where you don't want to get hit.
