because keeping it open makes it compatible with other miscs. letting players be creative with their loadout is a big factor in valve choosing which cosmetics to approve.

then why not just make it closed by default? because why wear a helmet if its going to be open anyway

because valve seems to have quit implementing styles

why no option to close the helmet =/ would look much better and badass
