could you do a mod which removes the raiding stance for me there are two reasons frist you just need to place one single unit in the nowhere in one province and you lower the income wow and you still lover the income even if the province normaly gives you only for example 200 g you income get lowert by for e.g 1000 . the second reason is the AI never face you in open battle they playing the whole time of the game only Hide and seek with you that piss me at most off

I liked it. even though Divide et Impera reported to have a lot of problems. lol good luck even if Rome 2 has problems with its own.

For vanilla users, just start the mod launcher and check "enable out of date mods", then check this mod. It should still work. Have fun everyone!

Just throwing this out into the ether. Not sure if anyone else feels the same about "Tactical Retreating". Not sure who would be good to ask about making this an actual mod. Instead of the auto-retreat function, a small movement range seems a lot more realistic. Anyone who knows where i should throw this idea message me please, would love some help :)

Have you tried adding the same values to your main overhaul? (Such as radious, copy what Fenrir modified to Radious Pack - yes, it requires to update whenever the mod updates)

It is a bug in Steam Workshop, that your computer is experiencing. You need to go off from Steam, find the file a_noforcedmarch.pack in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War Rome II\data folder, or whereever you installed your Rome 2 to, delete that file, then you start Steam, Start Rome2 launcher, check mod button. Then you can go back to Steam Workshop to download the mod.

It's a long standing, old Steam bug, it has no connection to this mod, nor to your computer individually.

A quick question: Is there any way to get the mod to play or update passed the update? I can't select play because the mod is stuck at updating. This has been going on for about an hour now. No it is not my internet connection. Thanks all

You are using an incompatible mod alongside this one. There are many mods that are overblown and even overwrite branches and lines altered by other mods, even where they have no effect in. As I mentioned before, you are on your own with this.

This mod has maximum compatibility, it is as friendly as can be to others. If the lines conflict with another mod that does not change these lines from their default, the issue is created by the other mod. That other mod needs to clean up its structure then, and become more compatible.

it didn't work for me either, I have "use out-of-date mods" ticked in (and the mod activated), but they still use forced march all the time.
might be a compability issue though, since I use a lot of other mods.

It does work, all you had to do was to deselect out of date mods. False positive, as always.

However, I reuploaded the same thing right now. I didn't change anything. See if it's compatible. Hehe :-)

It was compatible all along, as I said, false positive. The new launcher of CA just requires modders to reupload their stuff every time CA releases an update. It does not check for incompatibilities, but instead wether the mod has been uploaded before the latest patch or afterwards.

For example, the latest version of Divide et Impera shows as "incompatible", while it is in reality compatible. The new launcher is just.... let's call it sub-optimal. I reuploaded the same version however, so that the mod launcher does not think falsely of it as incompatible anymore.

It would also mean one had to rebalance several things again, and it would be pretty intrusive to the mod, and would thus probably need to get updated with their every iteration of it. DeI releases new versions every 2 or 3 days atm. I'd also recommend you try the usual DeI experience without forced march (which is included), it is like all previous TW games and much better imo.

guille_schu, in DeI they removed the button entirely and took several other changes, which would conflict. Currently I am not planning to make a "yes forced march" mod for DeI anymore. I'm usually not modding, and getting into it again would require quite an effort. I recommend you request this on the twcenter.net forums of Divide et Impera, usually people there are able to help you easily.

@Desposabitch I thought it remained compatible, it should be just CA's new launcher showing a false positive. Well, I'll check into it later today. All I need to do is press reupload a single time for the warning to disappear, but I gotta get to my home computer for that.
