there's only black screen when i start spec ops in this map
Also, if you used pathfinding boxes and links to get bots to enter houses (or even if you didnt) you can instead simplify your life by placing a single giant pathbox over the whole map with a cell size of 0.1 and character radius of 0.4. No need for multiple smaller ones. All buildings will become accessible, and bots wont skip up random hills, but it will take a long time to save the map.
I was thinking on working on the map some more, expand the village and so on and what you've suggested
If you're concerned about framedrops, the Alder Island tree prop really doesnt cause much lag unless you number it in the hundreds, not nearly as much as palm trees anyways. Light objects cause the most lag, and so do tall walls/mountains (a shortcoming of the editor, nothing you can do about that, given that your whole map is a mountain range).
The bots also target ppl through trees, so you might want to put a collider box in some of the off-the-ground trees. Also, i noticed that some capture ranges are rather large, which can make it difficult to find the enemy intruder around houses and such. But overall this is really excellent.
I really love the design of the towns and houses, especially the one in the south. The battle is so intense that even the roof is filled with machine-gunning soldiers!
Most importantly, its the gameplay. The map has a sea-side, tunnels, towns, roads, turrets, mountains and roof fighting. It offers you a great diversity as you can (using platformer skills) get almost anywhere.
Tips for battle:
1: Always take down the southern town first (Forgot da name loal), and best by the roofs. Its designed for roof combat!
2: Try to use:
A sniper (Defender)
An automatic handgun (Automatico, not AA-AA type)
Grenades (Smoke or the normal explody one)
Something of your choice.
Also, it is VERY cool at night-time!
I love the fortress and village points the most. The village also has a very cheeky tower that AIs love to go to and STILL be catching the point. (Grenades prolly help tho.)
