I have added all of your small animal mods, except for the fish variant mod which can take effect with native mutations, all other mods cannot generate mutations through egg laying and can only be generated through debug or sandbox mode, proving that mods are in the startup state but cannot produce animal mutation effects

They should! I have been playing with mod and dlc active during the beta and i compiled to the lastest files from the game, though if you find something let me know, btw, apparently how the units and weight are handle changed and that has transpired across many wierd interactions.

I think that Bionics only changed how you take care of dupes as you have different dupes, but this new Prehistoric DLC looks to have changed alot. Will my favorite Pips still work in that new DLC?

sorry meant to sat something like the plated paku into something like a plated hatch like take for example the gold hatch mod it takes lead and turns it into gold(thats how u get the hatch u can use any metal lead is most efficent so yea)

I finally bit the bullet and fix to the new update and adjusted the winter pip to cold temperatures, once the new update goes alive, ill release my updates.

@Erny can you please fix the Drecko Morphs not eating certain plants
Frosty, Mossy morphs won't eat from plants
I think the issue is that this line of code is missing from the respective Dreckos
Right under

There Should be this

The opulent drecko has this line of code but Frosty,Mossy doesn't

loved your mods, you made a lot of clitters versatile and profitable.

My only complaint is that the winter pip live in a different temperature than their food. is their a way to change them to live in negative degrees?

Also. is there a plan for more mod like this? i'd love to see seal and fox morphs

That is understandable if an update messed with things, I am able to wait, seems a few more mores need updates as well. But I will still love to see those pips when I can. I remember your one frosty drecko that ate and dropped snow idea, now is a very useful little guy with the frosty pack out.

Like i said on the other mod page, consumption information for autumn and winter pips are showing correct values again. Also, I watched my autumn pips eat dusk caps so that part is working properly as well.

To build off of the previous post from @Vaultaiya It appears that the plants that show an error in their consumption amount are unable to be eaten by the pip. This means that autumn pips are unable to eat dusk caps and winter pips are unable to eat at all since both sleet wheat and nosh beans show as Error.

Update: seems to be working, thank you very much! Haven't actually tried the new pips yet, but I've got all the critter morph mods enabled and game at least opens and runs without issue (base game)

One more thing, pip and drecko morphs show an error in the database for how much of each plant they need per cycle. Any chance you could update that OR, even better, just add a pic to the modpage? Hard to design a ranch when idk how many plants I need.

The mod is adjusted for the new version, either download the beta or wait for the new version to drop, it was a bit of a miss management from me. I'm sorry, i kinda forgot to wait since I focused on the new Handy Herbs mod, i lost focus that i had to wait to update the rest and update them all.

I added the puft morph mod and now my game wont stop crashing upon loadup! Game was stable before with highlight overlay, pip morphs, and drecko morphs. I believe I had pacu enabled as well. But then I added the pufts and now NONE of the mentioned mods are working, at least none of the critter mods with the highlight overlay active as well.

I have tried updating, rearranging mod order, activating one at a time, I unsubscribed from the puft mod, then also from the pacu mod. It still crashes every time.


At the very least I want this one! Ngl mostly because they are so cute but also I have designed a handful of ranches I want to try. But I need the highlight overlay so I can actually find things. Any idea why it would have been working fine for a long time before and suddenly isn't, or something I can try? I've been restating my game for probably over half an hour at this point trying to figure this out.

Welcome back Erny! I think the new change to thermo effects is interesting and critters and dupe can now die of both Heat and COLD. Sadly Pips die at -30 C (I actually had one die at -28 C)

I think your winter Pip would do wonders to add to the DLC, and that cold Dreco Idea that shears for Snow or ice would be a great additional with the new DLC!
So cool. I regret to say that the one really bad thing in the DLC is Mercury, it really has niche uses, and is actually more of a issue then a boon at the moment.

I'm finding a problem with the winter pip. I have an eclosure with 6 tame pips and 6 wild sleet wheat and some of the pips simply stop eating. They stay in the "Looking for Food" state until they begin to starve or only eat from a plant that is around 30% grown, finally sating themseelves, causing others to don't eat from those plants at 4~5% and restart the cycle until they die and new ones are born

Hi Erny, I found a potential issue. I saw an autumn pip trying to drink from the critter fountain, but it was not getting the Hydrated buff. Fortunately it was also not consuming Brackene.
