The $nodecal trick is good to have, but with the way materials and textures are set up, it looks like it's just stuck in fullbright mode. Also, this one doesn't have bile textures set up either in materials or in the qc and the eyes are off slightly. Even the viewmodel is semi-borked though I play at 90 fov so that probably doesn't help.
Might just be my own ego talking but I really wasn't satisfied [imgur.com] with the materials and static attachments instead of bodygroup RNG, among other things.
To be completely honest I had started working on the Ghost version but I got stuck when I couldn't line things up for the proportions trick.
Though to be honest the materials here seem...lacking, just based on the screenshots.
