ah... I thought base I could use was the one with the prison. it's my bad for not doing more exploring

I'll add to the briefing to make it clear that there is a base to use.

There is a damaged base to the north for you the player to use. Your ally defends the prison and you do not get control of his base.

Is there supposed to be a trigger to give you control of the allied commander's buildings and units? I managed to beat the mission but only barely and only because I was using the Veterancy mod and got my starting medium tanks levelled up. I can see you start with money so it seemed that would be the case, but it didn't happen for me
