The original armor, helmets etc. are in silver/steel. So there is no need to make a steel version. I made this only for guys who like it in gold.

What you can do for now is, to install this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10740/? which overwrites the original imperial armors and if you want to use my mod yet still, my mod will be work as standalone and only craftable.
It was not proposed, but I think my .esp and .bsa file overwrite the original .bsa so every imperial wears the golden uniform and parts of it.
And currently I haven´t the time to change it. Sorry.

At the moment I have only a very very little clue about 3d modelling to create new models. Thats the reason for that I´m only using the skyrim models. But sometimes I´m looking tutorials about 3d modelling and tried a bit, because I would like to make the real roman sword "gladius" and maybe the day will come to make a own weapon. :)
