If you rip the workshop with some tools they change the mod-folder-name and the mod can not working properly!
Rename the mod in ...\CraftTheWorld\mods\ in the right name and ist should be working correct.

Wrong name lock somthing like this:
2034249558_steeamdreck_rebuild_heros


Right folder mod name:
steeamdreck_rebuild_heros


or

Maybe you have edit the mods.txt in /mods/ manual?

Out of curiosity does anyone know how to apply this mod to the GOG version of the game? I own the game on steam so I can download the mod from here, but I found a deal on the GOG version of the game and it's DLC's whereas on steam I only have the base game.

I found online someone said to put the mods in
Program Files (x86)/GOG Galaxy/Games/Craft The World/mods\
and I tried doing that with this mod but it didn't seem to apply right. When I started the game again it did say "loading mods" for a second before hitting the main menu, but then I clicked on the "mods" button in the main menu and it was empty so I'm not sure if that means there was an issue loading the mod or what.

I forgot vanilla game, the heroes do not respawn. I took down my one statue thinking I could rebuild it. Then I saw this mod, a little too late.

@silverskene it should spwan a recipe for the head. Not the head it self.

In general, this mod has been working great, but when Barry Tinkerton died, I could only remove the statue and place it back again. It does not spawn a head with which to recreate the statue.

I figured it out, thank you for checking and replying. I had only rebuilt the head and not the statue. Thanks for the mod! Thumbs up from me.

I checked and it work for me with ne new DLC. You need 3*2 room to place the hero stature.

This does not work for me. I was able to craft the new hero but unable to place.

Dont work.There are no broken statues in crafting.

Sry, maybe you have a mod that broke mine. But from over 1700 you are the only one with this problem. Steamripped / GOG mods or MAC sometimes have problems.

@Dalairen The mod must be installed before you tear off the stature, then you get the broken version and the recipe.

Does it work? Getting stone from broken ones.

I don't know for shure if it work with gog version, but i think is should, noting really special here.

Thank you. Does it also work for my GOG Version 1.8.003? I play it DRM free from GOG. Not on Steam. Here I only comunicate and read. And I wonder why the Devs did not include such an essencial mechanic

@steeamdreck I tried doing that, it didn't work! See this video - I built the broken statue, then deconstructed it. I then had the broken statue in my inventory, but not the parts for the full statue.

And don#t forget to look right, the Core items are in the "Half-Stuff Inventory" not at funiture! :)

Build the broken stature and deconstruct it agian, it should drop an new recipe for the core-shop item.

I had a hero (Nostradwarvus) die. With your mod on, when I deconstruct his broken statue, I can now see that statue in my inventory (second row, far right). However, I still can't build the real statue (second row, far left, selected) again, because the broken statue is not the center item in the recipe. I also don't see it in the shop, so I can't buy it.

You can not remove the Statue while it would kill the Hero. But if you kill the hero with my mod you can rebuild the statue on other place.

Yes the Dev forgot the 999 limit.
