@Pure It coulda been an extra attachment on a top rail rather than outright replacing a sight, but that's assuming the weapon in question would even have a second slot on the top rail for anything at all.

it has something to do with the thing being a PHYSICAL object.

The optic shield causes the bipod attachment to glitch out, randomly letting you set up anywhere while standing but forcing you to look up or creating script errors when you try to do so.

It's a shame, since using it with a bipod behind half cover is the first thing that came to my mind when I saw it...

@Lord Fifu: That's something that needs to get addressed since ACT3 with the ballistic shields before Arctic released ArcCW. The shield would always stay there if you die while using the said shield, and it would persist even when you change to other weapons resulting to an invisible prop getting on the way of the camera as a well as the bullets. This seems like the exact same implementation. Really needs to get acknowledged soon otherwise it'll just be brought over to the next project again.

Apparently I encountered an issue where after using the optic shield on a gun, the prop or whatever solid invisible object is used remains until I change maps. Guns that I use can sometimes accidentally shoot the shield, and bipods can deploy on it too. Not sure where that's coming from.

The issue isn't that its small.
The issue iss that the aiming animation sucking fucks and fucking sucks. I mean come on, take eaa screenshot with you not aiming and aiming and look at the difference.
