this map played with no hud, no crosshair, forced first person and on the last man mutation is something else.

In case you want to play without any bots or infected:
-Type "map Under1" into your console
-Type "sv_cheats 1"
-And lastly, type "director_stop" and "nb_delete_all"

Honestly, it is genuinely impressive just how much this map breaks the bots. It's almost like the creator specifically messed with the bots' pathing and just everything else because they are very clearly dumbed down in this map. I cannot recall any other map that genuinely messes with the survivor bots' AI like this one.

Bascially, this map is only decent with last man on earth mutation. Exclusively that, any other mode and the experience is actual dogshit.

Here is my review: The map's visuals are awesome! I like the map's design. I have seen only like 1 common infected trough my run. I saw only special infected spawn. The bots, always got stuck in the same space and weren't able to help me when I get grabbed by a smoker or a hunter. The bots also always fell down. Like always. Rochelle always died because of fall damage and haven't made it to the safe house even ONCE. Honestly, everything you do in this map, is walk. There is no point. 4.5/10 visuals are great but everything else is meh.

I feel obligated to mention that this map crashed my PC so badly that it forced my graphics card to reset everything to default due to a system failure.

The map leading all the way to the Earth's core is very creative. It would be even better with more directional signs.

This map forced me to write my first review. As much as it was pretty, the fact that I had to play this campaign 1 part at a time since the elevators broke twice on 2 different parts (I guess you must be the only thing on the elevator as it goes down) was very immersion breaking. The most horrible part of the map was the broken bot pathing so unless you like playing solo or with a friend (good luck finding a server), this map might not be for you. After I got the "item" in the final section, my game crashed after I entered the "new environment". As much as I wanted to like it, I just didn't have a good time. It was beautiful though. As long as you don't play with bots, you'll be fine. 2/5

concept is cool but with bots is a nightmare, they often get stuck

super cool map- no more of an art piece than a map. ppl call this "boring" bc it's quite literally a self-proclaimed "walking simulator" / exploration game.

honestly this will be the only time i comment on any workshop map but this was a genuinely well made map and i see it wear it's inspirations on it's sleeves, i like the little story that's in it following in someone's footsteps to see where they went and the ending showing there isn't a way out as implied with the dead guy in the lighthouse. The Atmosphere of this map is well done and very little people can actually do good atmosphere for megastructures. I do feel like this map would've been more suited towards being on portal 2 or gmod's workshop as it probably would've gotten more praise and critique than being in l4d2's workshop or engine (the elevator transitions are cool but l4d2 really really doesn't like it). all in all really good map and i don't say it lightly either, you pushed hammer to it's limits and got a good map out of it, i would like to see what else you make in the future.

This map is broken the dipshit could have had a normal safe house transition, but made this dog water elevator that doesn't fucking work. So don't waste your time if you like playing functional campaigns.

the safe rooms where you lower down will bug if they start lowering and everyone is not in, it will skip the next level load trigger and you have to manual load next level from lobby

boring map, most of the time are running in empty map from begin to the end, don't waste your time on this

the elevator at the end of map 2 (or platform) is still bugged. There won't be transitions even when the missing player is dead.

Thought about it a little more and its not just one of the best left 4 dead 2 maps it is THE best left 4 dead 2 map.

Probably the most atmospheric campaign I've ever played. This map is amazing. Its really nice to see maps that are unique and aren't just zombie shooting gallerys from start to finish. Easily one of the best left 4 dead 2 maps ever created.

Yes, the creator has made it clear in the description that this is a short exploration focused campaign, and not a normal campaign map. Maybe it's a niche map, and I think it would be fun to play with other special modes. If you enjoy killing zombies, do not subscribe.

I am going to give it a 4/10 due to the lack of story behind the map, plain design and the ending was short but confusing. bots being a pain in the ass. What's good about this map is it's big, cool introduction and the ending. I know it was short and confusing, but it's different from defending or escaping. It may be an old map but if you comes back and fix the map + add a story in the map, I can boost my rankings.
