The updated version is much better version which takes cares of unapplied retainer bonuses.

@Cybermouse Problem is Its all on my old laptop,which don't work. I'm going to start over at some point so I will make the changes then.

Also, could you remove the buffs from fall of the samurai?
Like + 10% ammo for all units.
Since (like you said) a few codes from FOTs don't work on Vanilla?

@Shandrim I don't have FOTS unfortunately. I can still make changes to this mod to apply to FOTS but have no way of knowing if it is any good.

@Tap Master C Thanks for letting me know. I think I have found out why this has happened. The -10% costs are "gem_tech_agent_monk_action_cost_mod" meaning its code is the rise of the samurai and not vanilla. A lot of DLC codes works for vanilla too, seems this particular code doesn't . I can't change this because all stats can have their values altered, just not that actual code. You can add more to it like this mod does but if I remove it then it will simply add itself back. I do appreciate you giving me the details, took no time for me to discover why, thanks again.

Love the mod! I did notice however that your "-% action cost" effect for agents isn't working. I discovered this on a monk that had "-15% agent action cost" and "-10% action cost" and was only getting a -15% discount on actions. Perhaps the effect also needs to be written as "-10% agent action cost?" Other than that, great work on the mod, made playing with retainers a lot more enjoyable!

@Shogun_Cho You can only add extra abilities not remove current ones. Some original retainers will stay the same because of this. Steam is funny about updating mods I find which is why this mod can't be changed without uploading a whole new version.

Hello. I love this mod. Vanila shogun 2 retainers are mostly useless except for few ones (gomuyumi, sword of amaterasu, etc) so I had to save scum for these. This mod cancels my save scumming practices. I now give another chances to otherwise crappy retainers. I noticed that some retainers however are exactly same from vanila ones like 'exceptional bodyguard' - (+1 to command ambush and -10 assasination chance) any plan to change unaltered ones?

@Dr.Corona Sorry, I did leave a few - stuff, but included a + something next to it so its not so bad. I still wanted to keep a few bad ones so its not just a barrage of great retainers.

@Dr.Corona I was never a big fan of that stat so I did not add too much of that to retainers. No stat can be removed from retainers, just the amount it provides can be adjusted.

Do you think retainers that add command when defending/attacking is a bit weak. As far as i know, the command stats only apply to auto resolve battle.

@Dr.Corona Yeah I found most general type mods don't modify "ancillary_to_effects" which is the only table this mod changes.

Finally, a trait mod that isn't just "every trait makes general an un-killable 1000 man unit with infinite honour, buffing every other unit to be almost as un-killable and increases trade income by 1,000,000,000%". Genuinely though, this mod is great, guess I'm going to have to restart a number of my campaigns to get the effects to work though.. xD
