Thanks! Glad to hear that you like it.

I like this just because it makes the world look much tidier and fixes some graphical issues with certain parts of the terrain (like basically anything built on a peninsula falling off into the water). Tried turning it off recently and had a full-blown J.S. Steinman reaction to what I saw.

Don't work at all
DeltaAharon 2. juni 2016 kl. 11:29

@SlayViorZ: No other mod is required, nor do I believe there are any conflicts (though if anyone asks, I'll put in a trigger to ensure custom resources and improvements from other mods are caught).

R.E.D. Xtreme re-scales the land animal resources already (except Bison, which weren't included in the base game when Gedemon last updated it) even smaller than this mod does, but I've allowed those changes to control.
SlayViorZ 31. okt. 2015 kl. 11:44
Does this work with Xtreme? and does it work with ethnic diversity???
Ravendar 19. juli 2015 kl. 7:23
Thanks for this great mod, i always though improvements where too big, and often i saw pieces of copper or other resources beyond the coast, into the sea, especially in custom maps.

Can you make a download link other than sub button?
Bumblebeetuna 7. maj 2015 kl. 23:38

There's a link to R.E.D. Modpack above (Smaller Landmarks for...). It stands for Regiment and Ethnic Diversity.
Supreme-Ham 20. jan. 2015 kl. 12:28
what does r.e.d. stand for?

For those wanting to rescale the buildings, there is a way to activate the debugging menu by pressing the ~ key. In one of the menus that pops up there is a selection for building size.
Nutzzz  [ophavsmand] 3. maj 2014 kl. 23:51
I specifically left out the natural wonders, but I suppose El Dorado, and maybe King Solomon's Mines, ought to be included.

Unfortunately, the city buildings and world wonders can't be rescaled by a mod.
admin 3. maj 2014 kl. 15:43
Great Work, Can create similar mod for buildings, wonders and natural wonders how "dorado"?
AN/PVQ-31A 6. feb. 2014 kl. 13:44
I got it working, thanks though. :D

Ioweshawk: Did you trying deleting the cache? See this thread [forums.civfanatics.com].
AN/PVQ-31A 3. feb. 2014 kl. 9:32
I can't get the mod. Subscribing to it does nothing, and I have Subed,UnSubed,Restarted Steam, Restarted Civ V, and Restarted my PC. It looks real nice and it would be quite nice a mod to have.
Dere 1. feb. 2014 kl. 16:41
I tried that and my farms are still fenced in. Doesn't bother me now but Im curious on whats causing it now, I made doubly sure i didn't have any other mods that would change it.

I'll keep looking around for anything that might be causing it. For all I know I might be the only person with this issue. It might have to do with me forgetting to disable the mod before unsubscribing once upon a time.
Nutzzz  [ophavsmand] 31. jan. 2014 kl. 15:59
That's very odd, especially as I specifically excluded farms from being resized in the latest version...

Try going to C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\ and delete the "cache" and "ModUserData" folders.
Dere 31. jan. 2014 kl. 13:20
Thank you for the response, but I seem to have an issue where even when unsubscribed and the mod being removed entirely, my farms do not revert to the sprawling fields they once were.

I haven't any other mod that changes the farms in such a way, and I am not sure how to go about fixing that.
Nutzzz  [ophavsmand] 31. jan. 2014 kl. 11:44
Mathgamain: It works for other resources as long as THIS mod is activated AFTER the other mod. I can fix the dependencies to force the mod loading order to take those into account.

"Subscribe" just requests the game to download the mod to your PC. It doesn't do anything unless you check the circle for that mod in the mods menu. If you uncheck it, the mod doesn't do anything. "Unsubscribe" requests the game to erase the mod from your PC.
Dere 31. jan. 2014 kl. 11:22
So does this work with resources added in from mods like Amer-Asian resources? I would believe so since they use the same kind of improvements as any vanilla resource.

Also how would I go about making my farms looking the way they usually do? Would they go back to the norm by simply unsubscribing or would I have to change some files?
...!? 29. jan. 2014 kl. 12:00
Woops
Nutzzz  [ophavsmand] 29. jan. 2014 kl. 10:58
Mr.Clevsy: I was responding to a comment from someone that apparently didn't like the mod and couldn't uninstall it. Either s/he deleted the post or I inadvertently did.
...!? 29. jan. 2014 kl. 10:37
No. Just loaded the game without the mod
Nutzzz  [ophavsmand] 29. jan. 2014 kl. 9:58
If you just deleted it from your PC, you also have to unsubscribe.
...!? 25. jan. 2014 kl. 15:46
Okay. That's good to know :)
Nutzzz  [ophavsmand] 25. jan. 2014 kl. 15:31
Oh... Loading a game through the mod menu automatically disables achievements. Not much I can do about that.
...!? 25. jan. 2014 kl. 12:08
And yes only with the mod
...!? 25. jan. 2014 kl. 12:07
Achievements
Nutzzz  [ophavsmand] 25. jan. 2014 kl. 10:18
Mr.Clevsy: I'm not sure what a "chieve" is (unless you mean "chiefs"; in which case are you referring to Great People or something?)

If gameplay changed, there's no way that this mod could be the culprit. Does the behavior occur with ONLY this mod enabled? (R.E.D. Modpack would be fine too.)
...!? 25. jan. 2014 kl. 9:05
For some reason when using this mod it didn't register the chieves I was supposed to be getting. When I played without it I got them.
T Ferguson 20. jan. 2014 kl. 5:32
Just tried it and I like it.
AP 18. jan. 2014 kl. 23:22
sembra stupenda
Shaeltal 18. jan. 2014 kl. 18:42
nice
Nutzzz  [ophavsmand] 14. jan. 2014 kl. 14:12
Maquabra: Are you using R.E.D. Xtreme? Because I just realized some landmarks are being scaled down twice.

Haris98: No, it won't use a smaller mipmap or anything, so there should be no performance difference.
Darth 13. jan. 2014 kl. 21:20
IDK
Zerox 12. jan. 2014 kl. 11:09
Does this reduce the loading times in late game a bit? ( I thought this because of the smaller scales)
BigTittyGothGF 12. jan. 2014 kl. 10:15
I would give the mod a 4.5/10. Doesn't exactly enhance the quality of gameplay really, just changes the look as Maquabra mentioned.
Gomer 12. jan. 2014 kl. 10:14
He scales down the size of units and resources, by the ways he also creates custom skins for them too. Anyhow, by downsizing the size of objects in the game, the effect is that the world seems grander is scale because the inhabitants are no longer giants.
Schmidti 12. jan. 2014 kl. 9:16
So...R.E.D. makes every Unit smaller that it fits into the world, you make the World smaller and...what? oO
Rogainious X 12. jan. 2014 kl. 8:21
Hit [+ Subscribe] to download the mod and it should show up in the 'Mods' list in the main menu in Civ. You select which mods are active/inactive from in game there, not under a tools tab.
Vulture 12. jan. 2014 kl. 7:01
Where is the tools tab to get the mods?
Maquabra 12. jan. 2014 kl. 2:42
After brief testing: academies and similar improvements are really nice, so are farms. Mines look kinda silly and pastures on flatlants look as if hexes had nipples :] Sheep are pretty much invisible and everything under jungle is very hard to spot, especially when it's a dig site.

Don't know if this would be possible, but if a pasture or just plain bonus resource could contain 9 sheep instead of 3, it would make them really great
General RAAM 11. jan. 2014 kl. 23:31
I dont really notice a difference sadly.
PEEPOODO 11. jan. 2014 kl. 18:33
good
mongrell 11. jan. 2014 kl. 16:24
Good idea.
Maquabra 11. jan. 2014 kl. 13:34
Um, I'm a big fan of RED (extreme) graphic enchancements but I use them, except for the obvious reason, to have resources/bonuses diplayed in a less obscured way. They are simply pretty and climatic and I'd sooner argue for making them bigger than smaller.
I'll try this mod nonetheless. Maybe it's just bad impression from the screen above ;) Thanks for putting your time into creation of the mod.
Nutzzz  [ophavsmand] 11. jan. 2014 kl. 13:05
Actually, it does say, in the last sentence: "however, R.E.D. is not required."
