How I can reduce the density for a bit more view distance? because I want to use this sandstorm the whole mission long.

there is a problem in mp - if a client goes out to the lobby and comes back, then there is a storm for everyone, but he doesn’t have a storm

I have a basic snowstorm script - there are quite a few basic ones out there. I have an idea for a much more elaborate one. Just have to find the time.

Have you ever thought about making a snow storm version of this? Looking at it myself atm but maybe you already have something.

Great!! Any suggestion?? Gonna use in a mission whit around 50 players ..Can be great for the ambience!!

@Deezee - download the demo and files - then look at the ROS_sandstorm.sqf header - or try the demo above it explains how to use it. Particles and effects are obviously concentrated around the player or his vehicle - there is no point in creating particles and wasting frames if there is no player there to see them.

Used it past Sunday again, found one bug:
In line 809 in ROS_Sandstorm.sqf there is a "t" missing at the end of "SS_dust_devil_par"

Two suggestions:
- make the voice warning optional
- seems like the script always adds the googles to the backpack (line 148 in ROS_Sandstorm.sqf), maybe make that dependent on the _eyewear check

There's also a ROS_Sandstorm - Copy.sqf in the dropbox mission, is that supposed to be there?

Ran fine on dedicated server with 75 players and AI. Great script!

LordHeller - check you CFG_Sound paths in description.ext they are more than likely pointing to the wrong source folder. If you need help setting it up just shout.

Update added ver 4.51. Improved MP synch for Dedicated servers. Lots of small tweaks and improvements.
