Please make a version of this that you can make in survival
Drach'nyen 14 Jul, 2022 @ 1:53pm
Imagine being able to spawn this from a ship's cockpit via projector with nanobots or something
"button press: instant mine field" (running bigger explosions + nuclear weapons to enhance warhead damage/radius/damage to shields might be a bonus too)

I don't think it allows you. Pretty sure you can only weld blocks that are directly attached to something that's already there.

Can you weld this on thin air in space on survival?
'Dr' Domy 13 Dec, 2020 @ 4:42pm
You are a man of focus, commitment, and sheer f*ckin will.

Would it be possible to get a smaller version such as only around 100 mines? I love the concept and want to use this in some scenarios but 1000 mines is probably too many for my pc :c

@Triggson well I'm pretty sure its impossible to build in survival as you cannot paste it in, but yeah
Sir-Triggson VII 6 Sep, 2020 @ 4:00pm
imagine this in survival
what a mess this would make

and, could code be imbedded in a blueprint file? If so... a blueprint that's blocks change randomly... a true self-regenerating ship (untill you break something), by replacing all the blocks a second to prevent gats and missles from destroying it... the exploits immaginable! I LOVE YOU KEEN!
CTH2004 12 Aug, 2020 @ 7:48am
ah... I had noticed that effect with mods a long time ago, just couldn't get it consistently. So, simple! And, basicly the code just gave you random numbers, so when I paste it it will always be the same, ajnd the blocks just appear in slightly different spots when it seperates?
Major Jon  [author] 11 Aug, 2020 @ 10:22am
The blueprint is always the same actually, that's just your mind playing tricks on you :D
When you paste in any blueprint with gaps, the game doesn't actually check if it is still connected and lets you just paste it in. As soon as any blocks gets destroyed or goes missing, the game will check the whole grid to see if it's still connected and split it apart if needed.

The easy way to exploit this phantom connection is connect stuff with modded blocks, reload the world without the mod and then blueprint it.
Major Jon  [author] 11 Aug, 2020 @ 10:22am
It's pretty simple, really. Place a block and blueprint it. The blueprint will be stored in appdata/roaming/SE/blueprints/local. You can edit it by opening the bp.sbc file in wordpad. You will need to delete the compressed bp.sbcB5 file, the game will then generate a new one. In the blueprint file you can find all blocks with their respective positions etc. You can add blocks there, delete blocks ore even position them without beeing next to another block. I used a little bit of java code [pastebin.pl] to create a simple txt file with definitions for all the warheads with random positions, copied them out of there and pasted them into the existing blueprint file.
CTH2004 11 Aug, 2020 @ 9:54am
could you give more info on the exploit (A guide is fine), and explain how you edited the blueprint to allow the blueprint to paste in something slightly different each time?
Frans de Gans 9 Aug, 2020 @ 10:50am
:O YEEE thx ^^
Gona have a lot of fun with this one :D
Frans de Gans 9 Aug, 2020 @ 6:40am
Could you make a version with small grid warheads? Would be even cooler to fly through because it wont kill your grid in one explosion. I had a lot of fun with this one, i tried to fly through it with a fighter. :D
A Magic Hat 21 Jun, 2020 @ 4:49pm
want to test a ships durability? look no further than this blueprint
JIKOSU 11 Jun, 2020 @ 2:30pm
sounds like a good idea to me
Jeepster87 11 Jun, 2020 @ 2:29pm
I just wanna drop this on a city
sammie_boy 10 Jun, 2020 @ 7:38am
this is great, it rips ships apart!
JIKOSU 9 Jun, 2020 @ 10:18am
thank you.
Major Jon  [author] 9 Jun, 2020 @ 10:17am
@Taiidan Yes, you can add blocks, they only turn into separate grids when a block goes missing. If you want to add more "detached" blocks you can connect them with modded blocks and reload the world without mods.
JIKOSU 9 Jun, 2020 @ 9:56am
that is because they are a station, you can turn them into a ship so that they are affected by gravity
RickyG 9 Jun, 2020 @ 9:55am
I was a tad disappointed that they arent affected by gravity lol I was wanting to use it like a carpet bombing on some of the AI bases, and thats when I noticed its locked in place
JIKOSU 9 Jun, 2020 @ 9:54am
can you add to the mine without them becoming separate grids?
Konraad 9 Jun, 2020 @ 7:06am
@Reaver It looks like a consular class frigate from SWTCW
blitzstarwarsman 9 Jun, 2020 @ 2:44am
king clang will like this
JIKOSU 8 Jun, 2020 @ 11:32am
:selike:
Jake Baldwin 8 Jun, 2020 @ 10:02am
This is so cruel, AND I LOVE IT!:steamhappy:
Nightflash478 8 Jun, 2020 @ 8:43am
now if only people could make self replicating mines from star trek deep space 9
Gunslinger 7 Jun, 2020 @ 11:47pm
Too bad there isnt a magnetic sensor block so you can create mag mines that attach to the hull of a ship. Would make for an awesome pirate tactic
Bapy 7 Jun, 2020 @ 6:43pm
the trolling potential with this is very large
many evil ideas are being formed
The Field Marshal 7 Jun, 2020 @ 6:33pm
awww this takes the fun out of it its so much more fun settin it up yourself
Leo_Draconus 6 Jun, 2020 @ 6:35pm
You shall not pass!
DeAnti 4 Jun, 2020 @ 1:32pm
what nice how you do that?
Major Jon  [author] 4 Jun, 2020 @ 9:50am
One of my many unreleased prototypes :D
I want to upload a bunch of them all at once eventually.
Reavvr 4 Jun, 2020 @ 7:35am
What ship is in the fourth image?
Blacky Watchy 4 Jun, 2020 @ 1:24am
just what i always needed.( seriously). thanks
