I see this mode got updated on April 21 2021 but does it still have the invisible model issue?

Too bad it's not working anymore, about half of all HE unit types are invisible apart from their heads with this mod.

Do you mind making just all-female versions?

You're best off asking them directly. They're welcome to include my stuff in their mod.

So, wait, does this inject females into existing units, or creates different unit variants that have females? I thought CA said some stupid bullshit about the first being impossible.

It's unfotunately the nature of these kind of mods.
You best chance to combine this with other reskin mods would be to contact the creators of those mods. Like I said in the description, anyone is free to use any part of this.

I love the idea of this mod, shame that it doesn't work with reskins though. Will keep this as a favorite if you ever change your mind!

Only got the one female head to work with at the moment, so the best I could do would be texture swapping, which is barely noticeable. The only other female head that can be rigged on top a male body is Repanse' and hers doesn't work with elf bodies.
If more heads become available, I'll be able to integrate them no problem.
