I took out all the canals and extra rivers I added in an early version of this mod.

I basically had to create an entirely new map every time there was a map update to keep it compatible (several hours of work). Easy to do during covid because I was sitting on my ass at home and bored but getting paid, not really worth it now.

Simply enabling ports is a single file (1 min of work) and placing the port locations on ~150 provinces that would otherwise not have ports (20 mins) seemed like a good compromise.

Hey, do you mind if I adapt some features from this mod into my own work? With credit to you of course.

I am planning to make an overhaul mod to After the End that'd likely overwrite some features, but would like to keep river ports and inland merchant republics intact for it.

I had to take out the canal and other OG parts of the mod, they kept changing the map every tiny update and it took a huge amount of work to make it compatible with their version. Ports and republics take 5 mins to make it compatible so I kept that.

For whatever reason the eerie canal, hudson west to the lakes isn't in my game, everything else is though. otherwise a godsend mod that i can't play without

This is a pretty great mod. Overall it adds some great depth to the map without causing any issues with stability or balance. 10/10 as an addon.

I would need to know which provinces are causing the issue so I could look into it for the pathing.

For the cut content. There was Seattle, Omaha, Pittsburgh, Las Vegas, and Hudson's Bay Company as Merchant Republics. Placed them in watered eras of the Map that were lacking Republics and that kinda made fun from a lore sense.

I've been playing with this mod for over a year now and I love it. The only issue I've encountered is the pathing issue that a couple other players have mentioned, is there any way to fix that?

-Fixed Texas titles glitches mentioned below
-Game will now launch and run with new version
-Unfortunately had to remove the new merchant republics I added. Too many changes to the areas they were in would have added a whole bunch of work and would have delayed the update from coming out. Makes this more of a "Vanilla" mod which has its benefits, but I might add them back later if I have some time.

Some of the duchy and even kingdom titles seem to be glitched. Instead of it saying "Duke Bob of Klamath" it'll say "Duke Bob of d_klamath". Is there anyway you know how to fix this issue?

The problem is the mod isn't updated for the Texan update so you should disable the mod until it is.

So a bug I've got recently is certain portions of the northern states will have weird pathing that disappears off the map. For example, if I tried to move from Las Vegas up into Nevada, my army would walk off the map and disappear.

Would be nice if it was implemented. Saves me effort updating every time they update.
Lead dev for AtE is on a half year break though so not like it will be much work anywhere in the near future.
