I like it more without the Troy sight. Less intrusive this way, and the sight's pointless in a game without ADS anyway.

Battlefield 4 does make up for this by letting you carry around two explosive weapons. At one point I was carrying a SMAW, an M32 GL, an M110 DMR, and a Barrett M82 sniper rifle at the same time. It was a blast.

Yeah, I always loved the dedicated sidearm slot.

I played Call of Duty 1 and United Offensive. I wish tanky friendlies and weapon damage values that made sense had been in the MW series, along with being able to carry a sidearm with two main weapons. I've played Battlefield 4's campaign a lot lately and... Wow. Aside from a few issues like friendly infantry doing almost no damage to enemies or the campaign feeling really short (or a 20mm cannon on a SPAAG not instakilling stuff), it's pretty fun AND more realistic compared to the gameplay of later Call of Duty games. You also have a cool scoring system, with the game rewarding you for earning a high score by unlocking weapons (usable both in PVP and campaign).

Also, Activision does not make games, they promote, produce, and release them.

They tell us in their interviews how much historical research they made, and then they make a WWII scoped rifle reload with a sideways stripper clip. Bonus points for messing up the Lee-Enfield which correctly took two five-round clips to reload its magazine in the older games.

well, its call of duty , they didnt meant to make shit realistic tho. Its More like a semi-realistic Arcadey game.

You can kill a Harrier VTOL jet with a suppressed MP5K. Also, good eye about the M240's belt, that thing always bugged me. They literally modeled them 33% smaller than the opening in the receiver for some reason. Also the goddamn box.

And then you have other dumb things, like the ammo belt and rounds for the M240 in MW2 being TINY compared to the rest of the weapon, or how literally every gun instantly kills enemies. Activision made great games, but made some really annoying mistakes.

I've never understood why Activision didn't put the proper version of the M60 in a game taking place in the 1960s. The M60E3 wasn't around until the 1980s.
