I can make it so they rob the player and people, but they should be enemies with anyone and everyone. They kinda are meant to be a blood bandit faction that kill people for their own reasons

is there a reason why they just kill people? they don't rob them, because they've never robbed me, do these samurai just kill for the sake of it? and are they enemies of the Budh clan?

that's one way

all you gotta do, if you're not on their side, is heal them after defeating them in battle. It'll be kinda hard, so maybe just heal them when they go down, eventually they'll stop attacking you.

how you mod it is basically as you describe. In this example i made your relations 100 with them as well as also making many factions in their area hate you. I also changed their ai to mostly not attack neutrals, I'll have to update that a bit and see if it fucked up their aggression. but they also have a default realation setting thats set to -50 i think. they attack these people, but perhaps not on sight anymore. it really is just a bunch of settings and theres usually descriptions under each one telling you what it is. like you make a faction, then you make a squad, you populate that squad with npcs, then you place that squad in a town or in a biome, then boom, you'll find them standing there.

I don't think there's a way to make your player a part of an existing faction, even if it's a modded faction, but you can make them allied with that faction (and in the case of Orula, an enemy to every other faction if you want).
I know enough to know this, but I don't know how to mod, like, at all. :)

that would be cool. I tried to figure out how exactly one would "join" maybe not even just one particular way, either. Like maybe sometimes you're a slave or forced recruit or maybe you heal them and they have dialogue, idk. I'll make a start where you're the third brother, the youngest out of the 3 and also the one with the least power, you have to start in their main town and you'll have maybe a couple recruits. I'll make dialogue so there's like recruits and shit from that fation, even mercs
