Please make a stab vest or civilian kevlar vest like the ones worn by the phoenix connexion in csgo or the ones worn by the salamanca twins in breaking bad, i don't know what they're called but they are white and dont have any molle attachment points

You can decompile your mod using Mikero Tools, works perfectly AFAICT, and as a modder and the original owner you'll know which needs fixing.

Also: start using free cloud storage, MEGA.io is good for that with 50GB, and if you somehow need more you won't be paying astronomically.

Due to difficulties with recovering the files and the my job and studies, I'm unfortunately going to have to leave this mod in the state that it is currently in. If anyone would like to take the time to open up my files and reupload them with any desired fixes, I would encourage you to do so. If you do, please let me know, and I will update this page to reflect that a new version has been uploaded and provide a link to it.

I unfortunately lost all the original files in a recent failure of the drive they were on, so I don't think this will be as quick a fix as I would like, but ill see if I have some time this weekend to rectify these missing files.

Also I get this when I start mission from eden editor:
Cannot load texture hidden_ballistic_vest\data\vest\ballistic_vest.paa.

The idea of the mod is cool but I wish the missing files were added.

I just instlled this mod (fresh install) and I confirm this bug, the icon is indeed missing.

It seems that the error persists for some reason. In fact, no icon is shown on the vest in VA.

@Arkblade I looked through the mod files and data/vest/icon.paa is there, I'd recommend reinstalling the mod and see if that fixes it

@15pahmadzai it doesn't have any storage (you don't generally have pockets on a Kevlar vest). If you want storage, I would recommend using a backpack

I have pushed an update:
- Lower armour values
- Removal of the Jets DLC dependency
- Ground model based of tactical vest instead of deck crew vest

@Rockfrog I will look into that and work to adjust this to work for everyone alongside lowering the armor values.

This is an excellent mod, really loving it. However, two observations on full unit testing:
1. the mod appears to have a linked dependency with the JETS DLC – which means many users can’t use it sadly.
2. the armour values seem quite high compared to plate carriers with actual ballistic plates in them. Ballistic plates are always going to be superior to an undercover ballistic vest..

Is there any chance the JETS DLC dependency could be removed?
