I actually quite like this map, it's not crazy, plenty of open non crammed areas for easy land dino traversal, good flowing biomes.
Would be great to see it finished, you are not far off.

On single player and non dedicated there are animals everywhere. I put it on a dedicated server and there are no animals at all in the cold area or volcano area. Any ideas?

Are also Explorer notes included? (This question is because I play single player and without notes it is quite very hard.) If the DevKit would accept my old PC I would do such things myself, but it only crashed two days until I could not stand it any more.

@TinkaMel i am not sure. it is very well playable and updates will add more and more content. that is all i can say for now ;)

How long do you think till the map is pretty much completed? not taking bug fixes and map maintenance?

I am enjoying this map. I play as a very primitive lone human (i don't smelt metal or tame creatures, just spear and bow) so I like this has no big obelisks and minimal human structures. The terrain can be explored without flyers but has plenty of variety. I seek a pure wild map with no human structures, boats, obelisks, or explorer notes. This map is the closest to realistic I have found. For most play types this is a really nice map. Thank you.

I lost my old game and started a new one a couple months ago... and I have been map-hopping.. have you added any obelisks? I would love to start a new adventure with my current character!

From what I can percieve, this map is a lot viable for land travel from dinos like raptors, equus, brontosaurus, deinonychus, etc. the sheer rangge of mountains on the map gives great room to set up bases for breeding dinos and such, since plenty of them will travel on land for a long time. not to mention that drakes are all welcome for this expansion. I would ask for the dev to pay attention to structuring resources for metal and chitin with a inspection on some dinos for the mountain range idea , as you know there will be focus on handling resources for them, especially when carnos are around.

It crashed during the character creation. Are there know incompatibilities or do I have to put it somewhere specific in my load order?

what sort of new dino will they bring for this, I wonder?

chitin seems to be a premium... i've been growing narcoberries to put into the slaughter house. I still have yet to see any trilobites... will you be adding these eventually?? Just wondering

@renie86 yes, i saw your comment and decided it is time to insert these trees. maybe i can add 1-2 of them to the redwood hilltop besides the cherry trees...
