I'm not familiar with that mod but this mod won't work if that mod uses any other mission schedule than "SabotageCC". If they made their own schedule under a different name, this mod won't affect it.

Thanks for the mod! Is there a way to make this work with Covert Infiltration? The Gatecrasher mission is on a different map for that mod so not sure if it's compatible.

I am sorry but I am not creating or updating mods for XCOM anymore. Also I wouldn't know how to configure a mod to run in a specific order.

Depending on the load order the mission deploys as expected or not, the only other mod I have that changes the mission is Even more Robots by adding two drones.

Can you usethe info given by @MrMister to configure the RunOrder of the mod to properly run the mod, with the information of Community Highlander , that way there would not be any further issues in that area.

That's a mod enemy, right? You'll need to enter THIS mod's config folder (either 2102497952, or 1649774024) and open XcomEncounters.INI. Then either add lines or replace lines that include the name of the Raider enemy groups (you can find the enemy names in that Raider mod's folder, in XcomEncounters).

i cant get mods to work with new launcher, but copied over xcomschedules and it dose work, so thanks, i like the extra dificulty.

I can definitely add resistance units (I experimented with that last night) but not sure if I should. Seems to make it way too easy. But also, they don't follow XCOM or hunt enemies, they just stand there and only fight if there are enemies in range.

What about adding resistance units that you don't get to keep? I'm not saying it'd make a lot of sense, but it might be a nice experiment, maybe it's more possible to implement.

Otherwise, maybe you could try making it into a bomb&evac mission, so you don't HAVE to kill all the pods? From playing through it 4 times (with Yellow Alert v2), I usually engage three pods before the objective, then two more at once the moment I try to plant the bomb, then I have to go and hunt down the final pod.

Do you try killing everyone for the corpses (specially if using Iridar's defense items overhaul, as nanovests are now pretty darn good earlygame), lr do you call it quits? I like the decisions.

Actually, scratch that, I think? Loading this after ABC will result in your intended spawn layout, and there will be two instances of each of the (in legendary) three handcrafted pods from ABC, also properly spread out.

I am thinking though that this would go a bit better if there was a way to increase Gatecrasher's squad size to 6 without actually affecting the post-gatecrasher starting squad size.

No it will not. From reading the description for the mod, I can see that it edits Gatecrasher, so only 1 of these mods will work at a time.

Is this incompatible with A Better Campaign? I'm trying to use both at the same time and despite loading Gatecrasherx2 last, I'm still starting vanilla-close to the objective.

Yeah, I will probably change the soldier count to 6 just for this mission. And then I will make a new mod: "Gatecrasher x3" :)

Oh I don't think the default number needs to be increased, just those two extra for that first mission since it's all rookies and if you fail it's game over before it begins.

Optionally they could be found in the level as extra's maybe? Not sure if those can be rookies too since those you find elsewhere in the field always have a class assigned.

I had never noticed that before, and at this time I am not sure how to fix that. It sounds like a base-game bug.

Good idea, I will consider making that change. However, there are also mods out there that increase the default number of soldiers. I just played this with 4 soldiers on Commander difficulty and didn't have too many problems, so I guess it just depends on the map layout that you get as well as tactical decisions.

Might want to give X-Com 6 rookies then for this mission instead of 4, to balance things out since with the terrible accuracy of rookies, people are bound to die.
I always get most kills from grenades in that first mission.

Another issue I am having is when a soldier has the shadowstep and suppressed, when she moves out of the line of sight of the suppressing enemy, she is still suppressed.

Is there a way to fix this?
