There are a few strangely worded popups but your wife won't reject you on the basis of being your wife - even if she makes it sound that way!

Unfortunately this mod is incompatible with HIP. It edits the above mentioned files.

@jason geralt you can do it yourself: theres a line in the code of the decision that excludes parents/children from seduction. if you just delete that line that should work. pretty sad that roleplaying as a habsburg isnt possible in vanilla.

I just ran a test with "Seduce Your Wife" as the only mod. I had the option to seduce my half sister but the options for my wife were strictly vanilla.
The ruler for that test was an unmarried Welsh Catholic with a 867 start (The Old Gods)
DLC active were; 'Sword of Islam', 'Legacy of Rome', 'The Old Gods' and 'Way of Life'.

@dr Fraud - I'm afraid their isn't. You can look at the mods you are using and see if they change the files I list above - if they do it won't work.

Is there a list of known incompatible mods? The option isn't showing for me.

If they don't make this base-game in ck3, I'm counting on you.

ajacksoian. the base game does have a way to make your wife your lover. the family focus has an event where they fall in love with you.

In the era of arranged marriages and childbearing as a duty, the concept of marriage for 'love' wasn't a thing...but if you could get your wife to come around and actually love you, then you had a much better marriage. Why this wasn't in CK2 as a way to play, to make marriages of politics into real marriages, is beyond me. This was the era in which 'courtly love' was starting to form as a concept in many parts of Europe, after all, at least by the latter part of the game.

@Juke™SemechkiGourmet™ Because it means that a random mistress you have sex with once will like you more than your wife. Remember, Lovers get a relationship bonus.
