Since i restarted my No-Fly Savegame i will definetely give this a try. I like the old design too :)

Agreed, it is not he most stable design, but it is as good as I could do without using sub-grids.

Since it uses differential wheel suspension height to angle the drills (instead of hinges, like the more recent excavators), the wheels could not be further forward, hence the front heavy design.

I also wanted to vehicle to fit inside the tunnel it drills (with left click), and so it could not be wider without adding more drills, making it more front heavy.

Ratel is a bit front- and top-heavy to work properly (this is without cargo in the drills!). She needs some more weight in the back and a wider wheelbase (or lower centre of gravity when loaded)

For continuity and searchability, the Ratel should be renamed RO, it is currently R0 (R Zero)

Hi Spite. I still use perfect RO 427 and I'm happy to try Ratel for my Triton survival. I consider the whole collection famous and I'm looking forward to the next. Thank you very much for your work. And i wish simple fast scout hydrogen powered buggy....:) (Sorry my English)
