just wanted to say i've had loads of fun with this mutation, its by far my favourite custom mutation i've ever played. very underrated in my opinion

but alas, i have no friends who would play this with me. so some maps are just too crazy even on easy mode. that's a me problem though, not yours. however...

i've noticed you've made some standalone versions of this mod's changes, which is awesome, thank you <3 but i'd love some more! stuff like the AWP buff (seriously it's soooo much fun to use now) limited ammo piles, witch adrenaline, better special ammo. they're so good and would make for a great customisable experience.

Knowing how to kill the tanks well is part of the mutation. Check the Share playthrough discussion for videos how guys completed all campaigns duo on expert. You can kill bosses really fast with good strategy and cooperation and there are lot of additions to help with killing the bosses faster like quite a lot stronger special ammo, bile jars stunning tanks, oxygen/propanes doing 2k damage etc. Learning to kill tanks with melee is big part of the mutation too and after you are good at that with a good team having less tanks becomes boring

could you make a setting or something where there isnt just a fuck load of tank spam? The changes are interesting but its basically pointless if you just throw bosses none stop.

Everytime it's happened, the long standing up animation gets me killed anyway. (It's always happening when a there's a horde plus tanks, so I usually can't get up in time to save myself anyway so I figured I may as well just ask if I could turn it off altogether)

I can make that into a user setting. It happens automatically currently only if the alternative is losing the chapter. I wonder why would you want to turn that off ?

Is it possible to not steal a bot each time you die?

@Ali the Monster Killer, shouldn't have even try it then. I occasionally play this mutation with Mr. Nescius himself and my other friends and we all pretty much agree that it's imbalanced. However, it is still doable, some crazies even took on duo runs and managed to beat it. I'd say this mutation is the ultimate challenge to your skills.

The main purpose was having more bosses (tanks or witches) in all chapters and under any circumstances. Other than that the changes are listed in the description

yea hard rain can be a bitch because of the revisiting of previous chapters :d I am planning at some point to finally make it so that items you drop in 1st and 2nd chapter will also transition properly to the rest. Currently only the items you left untouched transition

Nah, I mean not 25% for full capacity refill, but one click will take 25% of ammo pile to refill 25% of ammo capacity. That way you can equally share a single pile instead of having someone take the whole pile at once.

Nah, scratch that. This is actually a perfect solution. Just let the tier 1 guys pick the ammo first. But maybe you should also make it to pick up 25% per press, since you know, 4 players*25=100%. If the others don't need it, they can just leave it to whoever needs it more.

At first I didn't like the idea of 200% ammo piles but then I realized I can just halve the ammo cost of tier 1 weapons instead. So updated the mutation right away :d tier 1 weapons and scout now take 50% of the ammo pile to fully replenish

Great mutation, pretty balanced. Playing with 4 friends, who know what to do, felt like some new fresh experience. However, there are some things I wish you would consider changing:

This mutation favours melee usage too much, and I wouldn't have problem with that if the melee was limited too. My friends, who always overuse melee, bullied most of the tanks to death with it, practically making it melee practice simulator. You did mention that you won't have enough bullets to take them down here, so I suppose it's a correct approach, but still. Having 200% ammo piles would be great. I'm Uzi guy in realism and use melee only for self-defense, so I was surprised that after picking ammo pile to refill my uzi, I dried it completely.

Yello', I've liked the change in the weapons being in portions of only one for realism's sake. But could there be any possibility for that function to be a script on it's own? Or is it perhaps tied to it having to be a part of an mutation?
