They can withstand many attacks individually though the lowest deck leaves the control blocks a little vulnerable to torpedo attacks. I wanted to keep the front heavy and tight to balance it with a long drawn out hull to accommodate the steam engine and torpedoes. I was debating stretching out the front until the end but I do have larger and smaller similar ships in mind.

Gorgeous ship, the bow could be a bit longer to space the turrets out so an ammo rack doesnt take all 3 out.
