Gorgeous mod. I've been looking into immersive features for Dunmer.. Unfortunately the door to the corner club will not let me out once i enter. Opens-closes not transition though

well, I subbed for the story, tbh!
DeGriffin 18 Sep, 2017 @ 5:26am
Very Nice - spot on Morrowind furnishings - 2 THUMBS UP
MacTireLass 12 Dec, 2016 @ 9:10pm
That's seriously amazing looking! You put so much thought into this. Dang man good realism.
Marvin the Android 6 Dec, 2016 @ 8:06am
This has to be one of the best mods I've got yet - And I've tried a lot of them well known, big shiny and fancy mods! Reading the Guest Book especially made me smile. So much thanks!

This mod is probably one of the best I have ever picked up here to be honest, the detail, the lively feel it brings, it makes the Grey Quarter feel alive now.

Excellent work, Muthsera.

I'm really liking this mod. This goes very well for my Dunmer character. I had tried Tel Nalta II home mod and it kept crashing or corrupting my save somehow so I was looking for another mod with a Dunmer feel, and this one has that in style. Thanks man.
Evil Nosferatu 13 Jun, 2015 @ 5:24am
I just want you to know I have both your mods and have for a while. I may not have said anything until now, but your mods are great. I love the love for the Dunmer. FURTHER. It seems rather realistic. The way you execute with the somewhat tattered remains of furniture and decorum that the fleeing Dunmer would have brought. You really can tell you care about your dark elves, friend.

I would love to see more from you as you go.
surpriser 21 Mar, 2015 @ 9:12am
The interior looks great, btw the bug with brand-shei doesn't seem to be fix-able for me.. Might just keep the mod for looks 'tho heh.
laury_yilong_liu 21 Mar, 2015 @ 7:50am
This mod works fantastic! Looks really good with the other great conversion mod Windhelm industrialized, Love your roof top areas. Windhelm ghetto nightlife looks amazing from there! Feels like a ghetto rat in the steampunk capital (with sound of whirring and hissing in the background and smoking exhausts overhead :D )
felroki  [author] 20 Mar, 2015 @ 9:14am
@aurelavida Thank you for all the kind words, I'm really happy you were satisfied and I hope your Dunmer will feel at home in the Gray Quarter. It was really important to me to give the Dunmer a chance to express themselves... so that the GQ is a place of beauty too, not only that of suffering, even in spite of its poor state.
@TheSurpriser Thank you. I am working on a player home as we speak. I'm about halfway through this project, the house is up and standing but I want to make a small quest for the player to acquire it.
Right now I've got an errand to run but when I'm back I will upload some screenshots so you can see how far it has come. I will also look into your Brand-Shei bug immediately after.
surpriser 20 Mar, 2015 @ 8:48am
This is just fantastic, love it. Btw is there any playerhomes hidden behind these doors in the Greyquarters? I'd love one, simple and small with some chests placed on shelves (for storing ofc haha.)
aureliavida 25 Feb, 2015 @ 11:27pm
This is fantastic! I adore what you've done here and would happily sacrifice any other mod for Windhelm to keep this one. No glitches or hitches so far. The dark elves don't get much love and you put so much detail and personality into this that it is a breath of fresh air. I thoroughly enjoyed your writing and was very pleased to see how it all came together. I was playing a Nord when I initially went through it, but now I'm off to make a lovely Dunmer maid. Thank you for your top notch work. <3
felroki  [author] 6 Feb, 2015 @ 6:48am
@Phil. The clothes are supposed to hang on a clothesline, I made it so that they are actual movable items that are pinned in place by a script. If there are a lot of other things to load, it might happen that the scripts are a little "late", resulting in an object halfway falling down and freezing mid-air. I think leaving the area and re-entering might help (it has happened to me before with other mods too, that items simply fixed themselves the second time I visited). If it persists and it`s disturbing you too much, just take the clothes.
As for the second issue, yes I have noticed this already while working on the mod. You see, these surfaces were originally not intended to walk on and the objects are simply modelled so that there is this weird and unnecessary collision area around them, making you seem like you float above them. I'm not happy with it either but unfortunately there is no fix for this, we will all just have to deal with it.
Baron Samedi 5 Feb, 2015 @ 7:54am
Awesome mod but a lot of clothing and clutter are floating about and most of where I walk in the modded area I walk just above the ground.
Noldor Urfang 16 Oct, 2014 @ 9:07am
Okay i will make sure to do that :) ps when i CK ever time i try to open Dawnguard or Dragonborn it always crashes and when i try to upload a picture to a mod i try to create a crash happen and now i can't save any plugins i create because it open's up my picture's instead of my plugins file so i'm in need of a little help @felroki :(
felroki  [author] 16 Oct, 2014 @ 4:28am
@lhetzel of course i am not upset, i love suggestions! actually, to change the name of the corner club is terribly easy, you can do it yourself in the CK if you like; if you want, you may add me and i can tell you how.
Noldor Urfang 14 Oct, 2014 @ 3:52pm
Ps you don't have to change anyone's dialog if you take my suggestion just the club's name :) Ps (the last one i swear) I hope you like my suggestion and in no way upset.
Noldor Urfang 14 Oct, 2014 @ 3:44pm
Your welcome @feliroki and a smart one too after all the dark elves wouldn't what to call their new home in skyrim a nordic slur after all :) ps i would like to see the corner club with a new name similar to how they were name in the Morrowind game if that's okay :)
felroki  [author] 14 Oct, 2014 @ 6:16am
@N0 Sc0pez good that you asked. it has been requested before, I have completed the house since and now I'm working on a mini-quest for the player to acquire it. It still needs a bit of work though because I'm very new to quests.
@lhetzel that's an interesting idea! maybe that's how the dunmer call it among themselves!
Noldor Urfang 13 Oct, 2014 @ 5:41pm
I do have a theoy about the Gray Quarter....it is New Gnisis it would make sense because the corner club is call the New Gnisis corner club after all maybe..maybe not but still it is a good theoy.
A loving embrace 9 Oct, 2014 @ 5:24am
Do You think you could make a player home in the Gray Quarter? thanks :)
felroki  [author] 26 Sep, 2014 @ 12:06pm
@xavier xie thank you! I'm very glad you enjoy them :)
@dysphorya thanks so much to you as well! It might seem like I have been on hiatus somewhat, but all this while I've been working on some cool mods that I can't wait to publish :)
旺哥 1 Sep, 2014 @ 10:42am
I like your MODs, I translate it into Chinese Chinese by software, thank you
dysphorya 10 Aug, 2014 @ 7:26pm
Can't believe I missed this mod! I love the original FGMW and am delighted to sub this one, too. Please keep up the amazing work! :)
felroki  [author] 7 Aug, 2014 @ 1:35pm
@theultimatesithlord I'm very sorry but it won't work. my experience is that if you try to start your game with a mod that requires a master file (such as Dragonborn) that you don't have, the game crashes to desktop near instantly.
pancakecowboy 5 Aug, 2014 @ 4:46pm
PLEASE RESPOND ASAP - I realize that in the very title of this mod it says that it requires Dragonborn DLC. I don't have any DLC but I absolutely adore this mod. Can I download it without Dragonborn? Like I know certain objects require Dragonborn such as the lanterns etc, right? But if I download this without Dragonborn.., will it atill work, just NOT INCLUDING the objects included in Dragonborn but everything else still? So yeah..., I want to download this sooooo bad,,,, so I thought it might work if I download it except it won't load the certain objects that require Dragonborn. SOMEONE PLEASE TEST THIS FOR ME TO SEE IF IT WORKS. Thank you.
felroki  [author] 3 Aug, 2014 @ 6:52am
@Ferris Bueller yes, I actually use this mod too and so far there have been zero problems.
Wesaint101 2 Aug, 2014 @ 6:51pm
is this compatible with the mod "pit fighters"?
Daniel 12 Jul, 2014 @ 11:59pm
Thanks. :)
felroki  [author] 11 Jul, 2014 @ 12:02am
@asianboy500 and michael.sicarii thank you for the encouragement! i'm very glad you liked it!
@Anduniel this version is not, but on the Nexus you can find a version that is. you'll find a link in the Discussions section.
@Nyan Doge yes i'm actually working on it as we speak.
Daniel 10 Jul, 2014 @ 9:17pm
Player home and NPCs in seperate addon? Please?
Grønlænderen 20 Jun, 2014 @ 9:24pm
Awesome work, thanks - this is one of my favorite Skyrim add-ons!
Anduniel 19 Jun, 2014 @ 6:20pm
Looks promising! Is it compatible with "Dawn of Windhelm" by bluepiano? I don't see it mentioned in description. Thanks.
TauntUnicorn5 9 Jun, 2014 @ 6:26am
haha i see..... i cant believe i didnt see that u are fel.. :D
Frasier Crane 7 Jun, 2014 @ 8:33pm
Now Windhelm actually feels more like a city, nice job.
Cheddar Bob 26 May, 2014 @ 8:18pm
dont add a player home unless u just make that a seperate mod on the workshop
felroki  [author] 24 May, 2014 @ 4:35pm
An update is just out. In an ideal case, you should notice no changes - it only serves to make the mod more reliable and less likely to clash with others.
A player home and some extra NPCs have been requested. I will work on this but since I'm also completing my degree soon, I cannot promise you a definite deadline yet.
felroki  [author] 24 May, 2014 @ 4:32pm
@Pokey yes, I have to agree! it was pretty atmospheric to work on just before christmas!
@Justin I am fel :D you should look closely on the areas that have become accessible only because of this mod - there's a hint for ya. your suggestion is great, it has been noted.
@MarurabaATX thank you, I will add it to the description.
MarurabaATX 29 Apr, 2014 @ 4:07pm
seems to be compatible with this gray quater player home: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=218436129
just sayin :happymeat:
TauntUnicorn5 1 Apr, 2014 @ 7:48am
felroki it would be nice if you could put two or three dunmer on the roff to give it a more realistic feel pls... like a beggar and or a thief or something like that
TauntUnicorn5 31 Mar, 2014 @ 2:59pm
could someone explain who fel is and or where to get him/her and the meaning of the note
BigHeehee 29 Mar, 2014 @ 6:24pm
So many lanterns! :O
Gives it a Christmasy feel. :3
supermelon928 23 Mar, 2014 @ 2:55pm
@ketchaval stick with Mazte, have some respect for yourself
felroki  [author] 25 Feb, 2014 @ 3:27pm
@Bananarchy it's a good idea to suspect a mod when you have such an impactful bug as this. it can happen in ways that don't make the least sense. once i had a mod that altered some LIGHTS in breezehome AND i had to discover it kept my main questline from progressing... the next quest just didn't start at all. it was completely absurd. one thing you can start with is to turn off ALL mods and see if this keeps happening- then turn them on again by groups of 5-10 to identify the guilty one.
@Sathis i myself play on a low-end laptop and i don't notice my game being any slower in the gray quarter than elsewhere. i hope you will experience the same
@Silariel thanks so much for the kind words!!
@Solitude and ChildofWar: interesting question here. i headcanon that he either doesn't give a fuck what trash dem filthy grayskins decorate their wrethced huts with and/or doesn't understand the significance of this visual silent protest. i'm hesitant to give credit to him for that much subtlety.
Mora Fista 25 Feb, 2014 @ 12:20pm
F*ck that poor excuse of a nord solitude. He makes himself to be soooo strong and all it takes is a power attack with dawnbreaker to kill him
Mackish 20 Feb, 2014 @ 3:51pm
I like it but lorewise i dont think ulfric would alow this grade of multiculturalism in his city
ketchaval 20 Feb, 2014 @ 3:26pm
Any Skooma being sold on the sly ?
Spacey 20 Feb, 2014 @ 2:12pm
Man, I didn't even realize I needed this until I saw this mod. Such a huge improvement. Thank you so much!
Sabbatios 8 Feb, 2014 @ 2:32pm
I just have one question--will this slow down my not-so-awesome PC? (I'm sorry if it's in the description; I didn't bother to read the whole thing :P)
