Hi there ANGEL-ARROW , I have both your camoflague collections (which are great), but for some reason your two decal sets (German & U.S ) are not showing up on the decal chart? As I said your camo sets do show up, but not the decals?

Thanks for doing that. I thought that it was a problem with the game as a lot of things are not really working with the painting system.

@The Pleasure Prism, I still have to remake a lot of decals, since there's a new file format used now in-game. Give me a little bit of time to rework everything and it will be solved.

Hey I wrote a couple of months ago that the afrika corps symbol was low res. I tried to make a panzer 4 look a bit like this https://www.fahrzeugbilder.de/bilder/pzkpfw-iv-panzerkampfwagen-iv-ausfg-86477.jpg . For some reason it becomes pretty pixelated when scaled down.

Was technische Daten angeht bin ich bereits bestens versorgt, sie sind für den Modellbau aber zweitrangig, da sind Farben und Bemalungen schon eher interessant.
Deswegen habe ich auch eine große Freude, wenn ich ein restauriertes Fahrzeug von innen besichtigen kann , ohne dafür nach Koblenz oder Bobbington (ich weiß nicht, ob ich da sjetzt richtig geschrieben habe, mein Gedächtnis hat ab und zu mal Aussetzer) fahren zu müssen :) .

Ist ja hier nicht unbedingt selbstverständlich.
und ich interessiere mich schon seit meiner Jugend (und das ist leider schon lange her) für den 2.WK, seine Ursachen und seine Auswirkungen, und auch für alle Seiten.
Eine zeitlang habe ich auch entsprechende Modelle in 1/72(76) gebaut.
Von daher danke für den Link. Allerdings habe ich den Eindruck, das die Seite noch im Aufbau ist. Auch stört mich der Begriff "Terror-Angriffe" welcher als erstes von Rechten (in D) gebraucht wurde, um sich besser als Opfer stilisieren zu können. Und die etwas einseitigen Darstellungen in einigen Punkten (z.B. die Planung von strategischen Luftangriffen, welche von deutscher Seite als erstes geplant und durchgeführt wurden, darauf habe ich keinen Hinweis gefunden).
Zum Glück ist Wikipaedia da etwas präziser.

In eben diesem habe ich etwas über die Nummerierung der Panzer(türme) gelesen, die Wehrmacht hat schnell herausgefunden, dass man sich wegen der Nummern etwas einfallen lassen muss, denn die Panzer mit einer "0" hatten quasi eine Zielscheibe aufgemalt.

Den Eintrag im Forum habe ich allerdings nur überflogen, da er nur am Rand für mich interessant war und ich zu meinem eigenen Thema recherchiere.
Musst/kannst selber etwas stöbern, ist sicherlich interessant!

@McLeoud, I've checked the wiki page and that is actually what I based my work on. Not all are in the mod yet, but that will come soon. First I need to recreate all my previous mods. There's no way I'm going to convert them simply from the former .tga file format to .dds file format. I have to recreate everything from scratch and that takes time.

Normally, the german tanks had a strikt regulared System of turret No's based on 3 numbers:
The first one stand for the No of the company, the second one for the platoon and the last one for the no of the tank in this platoon. The SS seems to be creative in this case.
For commanders (company or detachment or platoon) stands regulary the 0 (today it would be a joke). For regiment cd. stands a "R" first, than 01 or 02, 03.
I could not found a really good explanation in the net.

Second: Yes, it would be nice, if could provide correct tactical signs of all nations, not only german..
For the germans and the british/american I can send you copies of my literatur!

@McLeoud, and just this: if you have any information about decals you wanna see in the game, you can always contact me. Lots of other players already asked me plenty of things, which I always made for them.

@McLeoud, all these decals are the real decals which represent all the former panzer divisions. And the number 007 was the number on Michael Wittmann's tank, which he commanded when he got killed.

007 ... really? The most of the signs are fantasy signs.
I wish, there would be more real signs in this collection. If I would know how to do this, I would put more real signs into this . The necessary information about this, I have, in word and picture!

@вадим_Тургенев2003@rumbler.ru Unfortunately I can't help that. When I create it it is very clear and sharp. I'll try something different. A lot depends on the location on the tank you put it on. There are many positions on the tank that make the decal unsharp. 🙁

already had the decals from Angel´s Ko-fi page where the 17th Panzerdivision wasn´t yet included before i also subscribed the decals here on Steam.
As the 17th Pz. Div. is now included it works for me.

@Hptm_Hellmut, that is strange. It should work. If not, please come over to the official Discord [discord.gg] and put it in the bug channel. Hopefully we can figure it out or will the devs have an explanation.

@Hptm_Hellmut, when did you subscribe to them? If it was today after 10:00 am CET, it should work as intended. If you subscribed yesterday, you will have to update or unsubscribe, close down Steam entirely and then resubscribe. 😉

Just checked the link i posted, sroory, the emblem doesn´t show correctly - don´t know why it´s black on black. Basically it looks like a "Y" with a "=" on the vertical branch. Can be seen god on the wiki page of the 17th.
