I was experiencing the issue with missing textures and conflicts with other mods and the way I fixed it was by doing what was posted in previous comments.

Basically, the way steam installed the mod doesn't work correctly or something. So you need to copy the mod from the workshop install folder and put it inside the "override" folder for this game.

Once you do that, you aren't done though!

You need to return back here, favorite the mod, then unsubscribe from it.
Now you should be able to launch the game and activate the one that is a copy.

IF YOU DON'T DO AS I SAY IT MESSED UP THE MOD LIST AND GLITCHES THE MENU WHEN TURNING ON AND OFF MODS!!!

Buffs from backgrounds doesn't seem to work. For example +1 fire pen from Clergy

To new users: DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR TRY TO USE THIS MOD.

It is defunct and absolutely will break many other mods, preventing them from working. Worse yet, this mod doesn't completely work correctly either, causing many many display problems, broken class progression tables, missing abilities and description strings, duplicate abilities and other problems. It uses the old broken method of modifying class tables and abilities (by literally just... overwriting them completely), and is thus highly incompatible with just about anything.

Again, do not use this mod.

I don't know why but im getting the white box red x icon on Savage attack after selecting great sword proficiency. i just started the game, i don't know if there will be any other icon bugs. help?

Also it would be nice to know if it is lvl 33 or lvl 33 purist. I am not far into my game, I like some of the changes/adds but I'd go for lvl 33 purist... but either way it would be nice to know haha.

Per getting missing icons back... stay subscribed? uninstall/reinstall? @Verner's comment seems to be a fix but I am not sure if he also just gave up on the module.

I don't know what the case is, but this mods breaks all the weapon proficiency icons and uninstalling/unsubscribing and verifying files does not fix the issue. A full reinstall is the only way to get the icons back in my experience.

Gave this a go, but after a bit, I uninstalled. Don't like the passives change. I feel restricting some passives behind subclasses is a bit of a mistake. And really hurts character development. So I uninstalled it. So this mod gets a thumbs down from me.

Barbarian Frenzy seem to be broken, as it's applying it's -100% Rage cost for Barbarian Abilities during the Frenzy to the cost of Frenzy before activating making it cost 0.

Fixing the red proficiency icons can be tricky as others have stated - for me I had to combine the two suggestions to fix the red proficiency icons as follows:

Goto C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\560130

Within the 561030, copy and paste the folder 2069852198 to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Pillars of Eternity II\\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\Override

You have to manually create the Override folder

After pasting 2069852198 in the manually created Override folder (which was located in the folder 560130) then the red proficiency icons are gone and it should be fixed.

the "2069852198" folder isnt very easy to find since I keep everything on a second drive, after a little digging i found it was on my "E:\steamapps\workshop\content\560130" and placing it as JLtheking says fixed the weapon proficiency icons for me

I've been running this mod with the community patch for the last month and don't have any big issues so far, except for the thing with the Fighter that Player 1 mentioned a few comments ago (thanks for the fixes on their github!). Highly recommend the mod! The new class trees are amazing!

Oh and the Fighter's Mule Kick for some reason doesn't apply full attack damage for some reason. So it's a worthless upgrade ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

For those who are having issues with the missing textures, the fix is to copy the "2069852198" folder from the steam workshop folder and paste that into \PillarsOfEternityII_Data\override\ instead.

Followed the instructions from your previous post to Pugdalf. I still have the issue where weapon proficies are white with a red X through them. Has the new patch messed this up?

The phantom spells are creature summons (the ones that create a copy of the wizard) I think there is one or two more in the default wizard and I think one or two of the subclasses unlocks access to more creature summon spells.

All weapon icons are a white box with red X through them - I reinstalled the mod and fresh installed the game, also created the override folder but this mod causes the white box red X - any solutions? When disable the mod goes back to normal

The weapon proficiency's appear as an X on the character generation screen. One of the backgrounds gives me an extra weapon prof but if I play a devoted, I lose that extra prof.

Is there any reason why this mod may cause an error where the weapon profiencies are missing their respective images and are replaced by red X squares? as well as certain clearly mod added abilities sharing this strange affliction. I will say this is the only mod I have installed and I have not verified my files after installing it, (Not yet at least).

Someone else is more than welcome to correct these as I am not a modder or good with regex. Replace in Files in Notepad++ using regex. Run these 4 things seems to fix most of the text not showing in turn based. I don't know if it breaks anything as I haven't tested it. It also doesn't correct everything. Drunken Brute has descriptions set to -1. It's a start that someone can work off of though

wow it's perfect mod i recomend to all players, mod making solo class and multi-class synergy better, also moving not needed perks to your background story, and nice rework weapon mastery as cherry on top :lunar2019wavingpig:
