Apparently you can also buy pizza from other colonies but I still haven't found a way to bake it
Timepumper 6 Apr @ 11:48am
How do I bake pizza? The only way to spawn pizza that I know of is dev mode
greensniperhat 31 Mar @ 7:49am
Oop, nevermind, now it works.
greensniperhat 31 Mar @ 7:10am
Weird, I just built a Cook-o-matic and I can't right click on it to force a pawn to cook using it. Do I need to save and reload?
Mlie  [author] 7 Feb @ 11:01pm
@a_COW_says They are defined as snacks and never to be eaten for nutrition. They are to be seen as a source of joy, not food.
This seems to be intentional by the original author
a_COW_says 7 Feb @ 8:31pm
pawns and game does't recognize the CRISPZ are a source of food ( tasted with multiple stacks around across several different play sessions (vanilla to modded)

game it self doesn't recognize is food (constant low food promt) even with dev stacks of 9k across map)
will eat when forced. WONT be picked up or eat on there own if in pawn inventory, stock pile, rim fridge, medevil storage, deep storage
PLZ fix.
Mlie  [author] 27 Apr, 2024 @ 8:57am
@Mutie Well they are described as bulk recipes so I think 10 is right
Mutie 27 Apr, 2024 @ 7:59am
@Mlie, that was quick! I see that the stove version still makes 10x meals and uses 20 nutrition. Should this be 1x meal and 2 nutrition instead, to better match the other cooking recipes in the stove?
Mlie  [author] 27 Apr, 2024 @ 7:01am
@Mutie Should be fixed now
Mutie 27 Apr, 2024 @ 6:41am
Hey, there seems to be a mix-up with the Extravagant Meal recipe. It costs 20 total nutrition in the stove and makes 10 meals - but in the cook-o-matic it also makes 10 meals and costs an insanely low 2 total nutrition, making it very very efficient. I imagine the recipes costs got flipped around at some point, and perhaps the stove version was meant to make just 1 or 4 instead of 10 meals.
AVNlover67 21 Mar, 2024 @ 7:02am
Okay, thanks. I think that's why.
Mlie  [author] 21 Mar, 2024 @ 6:52am
@AVNlover67 Just to be clear, canned meats are not food, they are ingredients the same as raw meat. They are not cooked. They have just been preserved. So I suggest you make actual meals of them before you make your pawns eat them to avoid bad thoughts and food poisoning.
AVNlover67 21 Mar, 2024 @ 6:49am
Next time i get on, I'll try spawning canned food and see if they will eat it if there are no other food available.
AVNlover67 21 Mar, 2024 @ 6:48am
I've have all allowed. Except for animal feed and raw meat. I do have canned meat allowed.
Mlie  [author] 21 Mar, 2024 @ 6:42am
@AVNlover67 Pretty hard for me to say since I dont know what food policies you have set. But yes, generally pawns will eat fresh food before canned ingredients.
AVNlover67 21 Mar, 2024 @ 6:39am
Is that why they don't eat the canned food?
Mlie  [author] 21 Mar, 2024 @ 6:32am
@AVNlover67 Canned ingredients have the same class as kibble and uncooked eggs, RawBad. Berries are classed as RawTasty.
AVNlover67 21 Mar, 2024 @ 6:26am
Of course. They prefer to eat raw berries than canned food.
Mlie  [author] 21 Mar, 2024 @ 6:25am
@AVNlover67 And you have allowed the eating of raw food in your policies?
AVNlover67 21 Mar, 2024 @ 6:22am
Yes, that.
Mlie  [author] 20 Mar, 2024 @ 11:45pm
@AVNlover67 Do you mean the canned meat/vegetables/fruit?
AVNlover67 20 Mar, 2024 @ 11:18pm
Good mod but my people do not eat the canned food unless forced to.
MiTHRiL 31 Oct, 2023 @ 1:07pm
Probably some kind of conflict with mods..
I'll try to figure it out
Mlie  [author] 31 Oct, 2023 @ 1:02pm
@MiTHRiL Tested this and the canned meals was placed in the storage area with no issues.
MiTHRiL 31 Oct, 2023 @ 8:25am
canned meals cannot be stored in storage areas or anywhere else
Skakk 30 Nov, 2022 @ 10:04pm
ok thanks for the quick reply
Mlie  [author] 30 Nov, 2022 @ 10:03pm
@Sakk It shows correctly with the vanilla mod-manager so you should probably report it to RimPy. Ive never used it as it is closed source
Skakk 30 Nov, 2022 @ 8:33pm
Thanks for the update.
Getting an error using Rimpy though were it says I am missing the dependency. It says missing any of the 3 potential dependencies even though I have your updated RimCuisine 2 Core (Continued).
Maybe a typo somewhere??
Wild colonial boy 22 Nov, 2022 @ 1:33am
I hope it will be updated to 1.4
HIVEMIND 20 Nov, 2022 @ 7:35am
wake up samurai
Trikan 27 Sep, 2022 @ 6:43am
Came here to say the exact same thing about the cheese press, as well as the fruit preserves.
HashtagTSwagg 15 Aug, 2022 @ 8:42am
I agree with Artur that the cheese press should be moved to an earlier research, especially when you get the ability to curdle cheese much earlier. It has no use without the cheese press, but because of mods I need to go through 5 or 6 industrial level techs to figure out what people have been doing for literal thousands of years.

Move the cheese press to basic food preservation, which is where you unlock the ability to curdle cheese. I'd do it myself and save the result to my mods folder to keep things from getting messed up, but effort.
ArT3 13 Mar, 2022 @ 1:00pm
It's a bit annoying that a prerequisite for unlocking the cheese press is nutrient paste. This means a tribal colony cannot even make cheese before getting electricity. I feel it should be moved from intermediate food preservation to basic food preservation, or maybe a separate research.
Mlie  [author] 30 Oct, 2021 @ 12:53pm
@All Updated to use the [SYR] Processor Framework
Lambda 28 Jun, 2021 @ 8:24am
is canned food better than survival meals for caravanning?
Azuwi 6 Jan, 2021 @ 4:41pm
does the core mod 1.0 works fine with 1.2?
narwhal09 9 Dec, 2020 @ 10:56pm
@Maverick it doesnt need updated, %99.9 of 1.1 mods including rimcusine work fine
Maverick 20 Nov, 2020 @ 9:36am
COULD YOU UPDATE RimCuisine 2 Core PLS
narwhal09 7 Nov, 2020 @ 9:00pm
The core mod works fine with 1.2 @Darthdud
darthdud0 12 Oct, 2020 @ 6:22am
the core hasn't even been updated to 1.2.
Mlie  [author] 12 Oct, 2020 @ 6:19am
@darthdud0 Looked at it and this expansion uses the tag RC2_VegetablesRaw defined by the RC2 Core-mod. So you need to report the issue there to get it to add the stuff with a patch
darthdud0 12 Oct, 2020 @ 5:38am
Mlie  [author] 12 Oct, 2020 @ 5:37am
@darthdud0 It all depends on how the mod that adds them categorizes the items. If you find the link I can take a look.
darthdud0 12 Oct, 2020 @ 5:33am
the mod is called Underground Food and it adds mushrooms, it is on steam but i can't find a link, but the weird thing is the trim meat recipe can use the meat substitute mushroom but the brine vegetable won't use the vegetable mushroom, i don't understand why the meat based recipe can find new meats but the others can't find new plants for their recipes.
Mlie  [author] 11 Oct, 2020 @ 9:44pm
@darthdud0 If you give me a link to the mod and what plants you want added and ill look into it
darthdud0 11 Oct, 2020 @ 2:03pm
the reason i asked is i have no idea on how to do that.
Mlie  [author] 11 Oct, 2020 @ 1:55pm
@darthdud0 you should be able to add them with patches
darthdud0 11 Oct, 2020 @ 1:42pm
is there a way to add all plants into the dried fruit and brining vegetables bills? i added some mod plants and can't pickle them.
darthdud0 10 Oct, 2020 @ 9:07pm
thank you for continuing this mod, it is one of my favorite ones, i like making a hunter in the woods and live on dried meats and stuff like that. :)
narwhal09 26 Sep, 2020 @ 10:32am
Hey is there any way that Crisps could be gives some definate shelf life or reduce there nutrition? Right now they are basically the beast early game way to preserve food because at the cost of some nutrition loss (from 1.25 to 0.75) You will have a food item that will keep forever.
