Also I love this thing, but my god does it have electrical problems.
I had to station 1 engineer in the electrical room the whole round because the lack of an energy buffer burns out the junction boxes

this submarine is balanced for campaign and so you need to actually upgrade the modules.

it may seem that the engines work perfectly fine for me, the engines are running on modified supercapacitator that is under the junction box called engines, it does not recharge fast enough if leave it on 50% recharge rate.

Just an FYI.
the super-capacitor changes from the latest update have appeared to broken the engines. sadly i am not sure what to change to fix it.

also if you want the toxin cabinets to be Id locked they need to be deleted and replaced to update the settings. but that's up to you.

Stacked submarines are insanely boring, though if you have a party of friends who wants a long campaign and have dedicated roles of who is doing what, this is perfect.

The thing is, some people have different view on this game, as an advanced player like me and other as my friends, some submarines are insanely overpower and stacked which takes the fun out of the game, this submarine focuses on actually play the game, look outside for resources and work up your way to glory.

I tried a campaign with this sub and, while i absolutely adore her design and features, i'm wondering why she's extremely barren on supplies.
one of my friends theorized that she was built before the update that allowed item stacking, but i can see that she's been updated within the past 30 days.
was it an intentional design choice to have only single-stacks of small items such as bandages and medicines?

If you ever get interest in the game again.
could you add an additional sonar monitor that has mineral scanner enabled ?
as you cant enable it on nav consoles and would really help with the way minerals are generated in maps now.

also they added a Unit load cargo "bay" that could replace a few of the Large lockers on the cargo deck.

Ok, just finished a mining operations rp. It's good, although a front-ish airlock would be nice. It's nice and open making it harder for traitors and uniquely shaped.

@SkipTheMercenary It is filled with materials that is all, i put exactly 5 of each if i remember right, it is slightly alot, but on board is only one fuel rod, and not much ammo for coil guns, there is alot stuff to make for crew, and fery few medical resources, mining will still be possible and very useful. I am very much trying to focus on balance and there is not that many stuff at start. If you are looking for campaign, i recommend into the abyss which makes the prizes of all items in campaign much more reasonable and hard, sadly the campaign credit making in vanilla is slightly a joke and it makes you to be able to buy almost everything and be stacked from the start.

Been looking for good mining subs that aren't overly stocked with resources, is this sub filled to the brim with items? If so it kind of takes away the purpose of mining and manufacturing equipment. Kudos if its got a good balance between too little and too much resources.

I am making a new submarine that is gonna be in slightly same theme as this one, but it will be focused on more players campaign, it will be much bigger and will also have a shuttle. I will try my best to keep working on those two subs as like they would be my own kids.

@Thunderbolt Thanks, and yes i was wondering what to do with the free space around the reactor, there has been added emergency batteries next to the reactor, which has insanely low charge speed so they are used only as a last resort, also there are search lights around the ship that can be turned on in the navigation terminal as a captain :) it is called Lights 1

noticed the Reactor room Storage was Empty. would it be possible to drop some minimal electrician tools and a spare fuel rod into it ?

Also i don't know if the Electrical system could handle it. but a floodlight setup to light up the area around the ship to assist mining operations ?

@Armageddon You can turn on lights for the guns with the buttons under periscopes :)
