It is in fact some kind of a challenge, yet, if you take inspiration from Venice, LA, or even Biloxi, or the Keys regarding the ~urban~ developmments, you will sure be able to create a gorgeus city.
Well, if you are in the NA style of cities and villages, though.
Also, due to the size and the lack of space for L.A. style suburbs -framerate friendly.
Thanks for creating this map and also for sharing with us! Award given, Thumbs up and fav!
My workshop thumbnail is 600x600.(In the folder for the map its saved as PreviewImage)
The image editing is very well done. I too submit maps with pics and all, and you are miles (or many kilometers) ahead of me!
But I have one question for you my friend; How do you get the correct picture size for the Workshop thumbnail? The map preview (snapshot) is 644x360, but submitting it in that format leaves ugly black bars on the Workshop. How do you remedy this?
Again fantastic work, keen for the next one!
I'm going to be starting on a new map soon, I'm between a couple of ideas but in the early stages :)
One thing I am having issues with is the lack of building space (might just be me)
This map as truly fantastic, I am going to ask though if you are currently making any more? A similar look but more space would be amazing.
4 stars for work mate, its great
The Island was originally the Mayotte Island just north of Madagascar but over time I changed things to make the map 'more buildable' for cities.
Cant wait for my review BonBonB! hopefully this one makes the top list :)
