Of all the maps I've downloaded and played on in the past year, I still keep coming back to this one. I play hard mode challenge with my own spin on it, starting near the southern border. My spin is that the world wants my resources, so I sell everything. But, I still adhere to HMC and build everything from what is on map as much as possible. HMC is all about playing it in your own vision using the base rules as much/little as you want. I grab my starting population from the existing population before they all run away. Then I move into the old city and develop it from there, then move out into the mountain valleys to grab resources. The terrain at first glance looks impossible to build anything but even in the small mountain valleys there is room to build what you need to extract the resources. Rebuild/upgrade the old infrastructure as you go.
Dobry żart, trzeba naprawdę się najpierw domyśleć.
Thanks Avalkiz
Map was built in editor of 0.8.1 experimental version, you either need to wait until 0.8.1 enters stable branch, or enable experimental versions in order to play it.
After the high-profile events in Brecht, after many years the Soviet Union became interested in the situation. Due to the reluctance to the Union in the country and the inepocity of the previous government, it was decided to abandon the elections in Brecht and appoint someone suitable from the outside. The union promised to financially and morally support the new president's rule and ensured lifelong, mutually beneficial trade cooperation.
I probably should have done this in reverse order, lol
After the war, Brechtia faced many problems, ranging from unfavorable location and inaccessible mountain chains, to the negligible assistance of neighboring countries in the face of a crisis to the notorious lack of adequate man in power. The last president, Alfred Valkiz, recently began to gradually build New Kekowice - a new city in the place of the former capital. Unfortunately, due to the detection of numerous scams on an unprecedented scale, it disappeared in unexplained circumstances before it was reached by the Party hand of justice. Without funds, the construction stood and to this day managed to build part of the roads, the bar (it was built as one of the first buildings and was a favorite meeting place of the then president) and several apartment blocks. The only major investment finalized during the tenure of by Mr Valkiz was the construction of a high-speed road from the ussr border in Perkeline to Stary Pałkiz.

Brechtia - Brechtowa People's Republic (BRL). A small country with its capital in Hudsonburg (since 1945, previously in Kekowice), located in the Borzych Mountains, separated from the Soviet Union in 1931.
The country, initially thriving, suffered significant damage during World War II, resulting in the industrial industry completely destroyed and 90% of the capital - Kekowice. One mine survived in the mountains in the East, the rest of the mines and factories was no longer rebuilt. In Kekowice to this day there is a cathedral and some of the buildings of the Old Town. It has survived some roads and one of the railway lines, but this has never been rebuilt due to budget cuts and is gradually being stolen.
Nice map by the way! (Ładna mapa przy okazji)
