This mod is brilliant. Yet again I am surprised at the quality of the work which has been produced, adapted and evolved within the rFactor 1 and rFactor 2 universes...
Challenging to drive, great driving feeling (needing a lot of care on the brakes and on the throttle).
On my CSL Elite, I ramped up the car specific FFB to 135% as this helps feel the car weight and grip. It generates on this mod some clipping and jolty feeling, but the trade off - for my taste - is positive.

anyone have the template for this car?

My modding abilities and time have taken it as far as I can take it unfortunately :(

Any updates planned?

Thanks for getting back, Chris! We're pulling the car class name straight from the cch file that is generated by rf2 to store all the track records (that's the only thing we can rely on).

Here's an example for the "2007" entry I found:

[PLAYERTRACKSTAT]
TrackName=GPVWC_MONTR_2019
TrackFile=C:\TOOLS\STEAM\STEAMAPPS\COMMON\RFACTOR 2\INSTALLED\LOCATIONS\SRHF1_MONTREAL\2020\GPVWC_MONTR_2019
ClassRecord="*",43,81.3831,-1.0000,-1.0000
ClassRecord="2007",43,81.3831,-1.0000,-1.0000

Hello Hoover. Here is an example of the classes, pulled from 07_halliday42.veh
Classes="Panoz_DP01 iDT_CCWS_2007 iDT07_LasVegas iDT07_LongBeach iDT07_Houston"

Panoz_DP01 = All Panoz DP01 = 2007,2008, Fictional, all
iDT_CCWS_2007 = Only ones from 2007
iDT07_LasVegas = Specific to that years race, as driver changes and livery changes occured.

I'm not sure how the rF2 rank does their classes. Looking at the site, it seems their classes is something custom, not coming directly from the .veh. I didn't find a track for a car that lists "2007" to verify

sadly the car classes are poorly named (just "2007" for instance) which is quite undescriptive. (mixups will occur at https://rf2.gplrank.info) .

All the best,

Uwe

@evertbouwman Are you able to provide details? I know there are some. Some are out of my control. But your comment doesn't really assist with much.

Heya It was rfactor 2 messing with your mod and some of my dlc. I had to delete files and re install files and now your mod is amazing, all my dlc loads properly and i'm loving your work!

Do you have a video? I'm not experiencing what you are experiencing what you are experiencing. Can you post it in the S397 forum?

@nissan Man, if you see anything odd, let me know. A lot of the numbers were pulled from the rF1 version of the mod.

I remember this from the rF1 days, one day my brother an i were looking at the physics and realized the fuel tank was behind the car. we moved the position and bam, the car drove as you would think it would. the iDT 1995 indycar mod had the same issue. Take a look, make sure to fuel tank position is where it should be.

jameslee.storey1979 - I'll have to test it out at NOLA. I haven't experienced the issue with the car "hopping off the track" when shifting up. I have gotten messages that the AI is a little fast. I have a talent .rcd in there, but not sure if I did it right. The default setup, admittedly isn't great. It takes a lot of running and set up changes to get the car up to speed. With that, I've always felt the car seemed to understeer and front tires get really warm, instead of remaining cold. Again, haven't tested on NOLA. But it might be a set up thing. But I'll do some laps around there and take a look.
