Can I edit the 'hue compound' map to rok?
Only props will be edited.

Glad it worked out for you

It works in singleplayer. I'll contact the server owner about it.
Rambo FlamingDart  [author] 22 Apr, 2021 @ 3:31pm
looks like it couldn't load the additional asset package or there's a version mismatch

try unsubscribe from the workshop item
clear you cache ..\Documents\My Games\Rising Storm 2\ROGame\Cache
then resubscribe to the sws item, wait until it has completely downloaded

for testing in offline start the game, then press F3 and type:
open VNTE-HueCompound

if you want to try it with bots use the command from the description above.

If the map runs in single player but you have issue on a specific server then the server-operator most likely forgot to update the version on his end/on his redirect server

Regarding the OS Windows 7 should still be supported

Found the log. Tons and tons of warnings like "[0044.34] Warning: Warning, Failed to load Outer for resource 'Windows': Package ENV_VN_Hue_Compound.Industrial"
Followed by; Address = 0x3fdecb18 (filename not found) [in G:\SteamLibraryG\steamapps\common\Rising Storm 2\Binaries\Win64\VNGame.exe]
Address = 0x7794556d (filename not found) [in C:\Windows\system32\kernel32.dll]
Address = 0x77aa372d (filename not found) [in C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll]
Address = 0x77aa372d (filename not found) [in C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll]

Top line with ~10 variants, different addresses.

Might it be Win7 at fault?

There was a memory read error, don't remember the code. Can't see anything specific in the logs that I have, may have been overwritten. How would I run it in singleplayer?
Rambo FlamingDart  [author] 22 Apr, 2021 @ 2:40pm
Hi, thanks for bringing that to our attention

Could you share a bit more info:

What happened exactly?
Does it happen in single player as well
Is there any error message or does the game crash straight to desktop ?
If so is there something map related mentioned in the launch.log file, could you provide it ?

Thanks in advance for helping us track down a potential issue

[RaW]Raider 22 Apr, 2021 @ 11:48am
Any idea why it might be crashing when the loading is done?
Rambo FlamingDart  [author] 22 Mar, 2021 @ 3:44am
Thanks for the feedback and the love for the map!
There's an optimization update in the works that should give a bit a lower filesize and some other minor improvements.

Also we offered our Map to Tripwire to get included into the base game. Sadly they didn't took this into consideration...

Great map, this one should replace official maps VNTE-Hue and VNTE-Compound. Especially, I love the M48 Patton.
Rambo FlamingDart  [author] 10 Jan, 2021 @ 1:48pm
You can find the mapname in the description, this is the TE version so it's:
VNTE-HueCompound

Glad you like it! And if you want you can rate it using the thumbs up button :)

GOM ROK version is out, although roles would need further balancing.

Yeah boi great news man!!!!!!!! Love the mod keep doing ya shit man!!!!!
Rambo FlamingDart  [author] 16 Sep, 2020 @ 12:06pm
I've already added the current one that is in the gamefiles. However currently it’s hardcoded to the remove it as soon as the round starts. It worked in the recent beta though.

Anyway, this is a good idea. I'll see to make a GOM version where I change it to the ROK M113 👍
Crimson 16 Sep, 2020 @ 9:11am
will there be a m113 added from the GOM mod?
Rambo FlamingDart  [author] 7 Jul, 2020 @ 4:40am
We're glad you like it 😊
We managed to gather together some old photographs and also an map showing the "Hue Triangle" from 1967. With that we tried our best to replicate what we could derived from there, as well used some artistic freedom to catch the "Vietnam look" from back the days.

Wow such detail! Where did you find out about the ROC consulate in Hue City that time during the War? I could barely find anything on it!
