Random weapon merchant sells an upgraded handheld Devastator mortar with a price of 0$. Replace "BaseGun" with "BaseArtilleryWeapon" in Defs.xml to fix it.

I thought i have some mod conflict when i saw the handheld dev mortar, i tested it on a mountain, it was gone in a few sec, beautiful destruction but to OP for my game

@Roet The version error is actually the mod/patch complaining about the version formatting. Simply going to the Turret Extensions' About folder, opening Manifest.xml and changing the version value from "1.3" to for example "1.3.0" should make the error go away. Worked for me.

The version problem is part of the module manager mod. It's exclusive to that, I don't know how to fix it and I don't personally use that. Last time I checked it worked despite the error.

Gives me a version error with xnd turret extensions. Says it wants 0.0.0 but 1.3 is loaded.

I think there's some display problem. I upgraded the precision turret, and the only changes displayed were: power needed 250W->500W, shots until barrel change 40->48, ranged cooldown 3s->6s.
I also created a military turret, and after upgrading I see there's no change in displayed stats.

I'm not 100% sure, but that was what stood out. Every other turret there has one entry for BaseBullet and one for BaseWeaponTurret, just the devastator mortar has BaseBullet and BaseGun. And I haven't had any devastator-wielding raids yet ^^

Is that all it is? It was like that in the 1.0 patch, it just propagated across. I changed those that were BaseHumanGun because that def no longer exists. Didn't realise it was wrong.

Fix for the devastator mortar problem: Go to 1.1\Defs\Defs.xml, line 315, change ParentName="BaseGun" to ParentName="BaseWeaponTurret"

After loaded this patch, devastator mortars became a very cheap (50s) weapon available from traders that colonists can wield like guns. They work just like the normal devastator mortals, just handheld and extremely OP when each of your colonists can wield one. After removing this mod from my mod list, the handheld mortars were removed from my game. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue.

UPDATE the game actually pauses whenever you try to upgrade EVERYTHING except the gun complex.

Yeah, dunno why it does that and it's quite low priority for me to sit and figure it out. It's essentially a display error. The dependency is declare correctly within about.xml, it works correctly, if you have the required mods. You can ignore the error from mod manager for now.
