A friend and I played it (4 total investigators, no performers) about 1/3 into the Alice in Wonderland campaign and we quite enjoyed it. The music treacheries are definitely not all created equal - Dies Irae was irrelevant mostly while Brass was brutal. The boons we got are cool. We ended up giving one to each investigator. The violin isn't super useful but the drumsticks are borderline broken (Minh has them). The art on Young Nightingale is gorgeous. Endless Echo was frustrating but not too bad; Hissing Noise was the worst. The Dancing Rats all being named the same but having different stats/abilities was slightly confusing, but the overall low number of enemies in the scenario made it okay. However, the high number of Music treacheries made progressing Act 2...difficult. We got lucky, but I could see that be very annoying. Overall I think there aren't enough Musician. Agenda 2b cares about them as does the Broken Tablet and the Elder Thing, but I don't think it ever triggered.

I played the game four player and I enjoyed it but my group didn't. I would say the weakness for Performers specifically detracted from the experience.

If everyone got the weakness, but performers could get rid of it easier or gained some other card or ability for the scenario then it would be rated higher by my group and I.

I enjoyed the theme, but coming in with Marie, Lola, and Patrice we felt that we wasted our time playing standalone with those investigators dealing with Stuck in Your Head.
