Thanks for the info Nhihilistic. I've been trying to think how to remove the vehicles since they added the Brits. I'll check it out, when I get a chance :)

Well done infantry grinder map!
This good map is more fun playing with infantry only game mode done by Trigg http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=481822725&searchtext=
This mode works, it disables vehicles by raising their fuel cost to maximum , allowing infantry only to be built , even the ai does it.

Out of all the custom maps I downloaded this one has remained my favorite, especially when combined with xxCompanyofCowardsxx custom settings mod. like i said though i only noticed the absence of light arty and the addition of armor since TWA. pounding the enemy with 120mms was a blast, literally lol

This map has a odd selection of units. I cant train moratrs but I can spawn tanks. bases are small too. Was very fun when I first downloaded it before TWA, but something happened to it in the passing time and now its awful. the only way to win is to build a ton of arty and anti tank inf and smash the tanks w the arty then advance

I have a 4v4 called Perinski's Charge. It's pretty much the same, but bigger and in the snow. The pop cap is 200, but also starts with increased resources (but not unlimited) to make it easrier to hit that 200 mark.

Sorry about the cluttering troops. I've tried widening the trenches, but it only helped a little bit. I'll see if any adjustments can be done.

Hey Taboritas nice map man. Definatly one of my my favorites. Couple minor problems though. The mortar bunkers and that little slab of land it is on is a big pain in the ass when you are trying to move troops around. They either get stuck or get caught up walking in circles around it. But other than that it was very entertaining. Could you possibly make a 4v4 map just like this?

That's fine. It only seems to impact player 1. In multiplayer, the units for P2 display fine. Nothing to worry about ;-) :Perseverance:

I scripted out the vehicles. That is when the build list started doing that. Not sure of the reason to be honest.

@Taboritas, Good map. I like the mud and trenches. I've played this at least 6 times and I saw no vehicles, so good job on keeping it to infantry. The one thing I did notice was that the log of units built (when reviewing your build order of units at end of game) was a bit incorrect. My list of units built included armour, something I didn't build. It also showed me building conscripts and partisans which I can't as the Germans. So other than that little glitch (and i can live with it), everything worked fine. So good job. I can't wait to try out your other map.:KneelingBow:

I changed all points to Munition Points (Vitory Points will still be manpower points in annihilate mode). During testing in Victory Point mode, the AI produced one halftrack among three players. I can't disable vehicle production, but I can slow it down ;)

It's more of a hardened bunker for troops to help with defense. Snipers and MG teams work well in them, especially early in the match.

Mortar bunker doesn't work, It's not something that can be fixed in map editor unfortunately :(

amazing map! don't expect to have enough room to push out armor. really fun with friend to play. we would do a 1vs1 on this. have germans just defend while the ruskie would try to glob his way past mg42 emplacements and land mines.

Great map, very micro intensive. However it would be great if vehicles could get out... seeing as they're is no option to disable them.

some mud would be a welcome improvment, and would balance the tanks on the open ground as they're mobility would be hampered.

Yeah. It's kinda sad that you can't get vehicles out there. AI is a pain in the butt on the map. Once, my spawn got clogged up with tanks. And another sad thing is that anti-tank field guns can't get past the trench. Because the AI likes to clog up spawns with tanks, it's impossible to advance with just infantry, mortars & machine guns. Katyushas and Panzerwerfers don't have enough range, and Mortars are just too weak.

I'm glad you got what I was going for...the WW1 trench battles, which were some of the bloodiest, and horrific ever fought. Sometimes we forget, when we are playing a game...

Unfortunately, I think it only works as a custom setup, not Automatch. We need to hope that Relic might change that in the future.
