@wakabaru If that's the intended mechanic, it would behoove you to implement a special project to give the Omega Alignment research option. As it is a Rare tech, and there are several early-on Physics rare techs, even tech rushing with a Spark of Genius scientist is no guarantee. Chronoshift is an unplayable mess of RNG without a deterministic way to stop the apocalypse- not so much 'challenging' as it is a gamble.

Yup. So you need tech rush or you lose your homeworld. It doesn't prevent horizon signal quest chain completion - your capital autoreplaced to another colony if you have at least 2 planets.

Not sure if this is a bug, but there's no way to STOP the chronoshift origin from nuking your planet, which seemingly throws a wrench into the horizon signal questchain if you haven't gotten lucky with the Omega Alignment tech by year 55 (a long shot)
