@webbie33: I've added a road connection, so it should be possible for police cars to visit now.
Fiend  [yaratıcı] 19 Haz 2024 @ 15:12
The devs changed the textures for the woodcutter hut and I was using that texture in this mod, so I had to put the old texture into the mod and not rely on the default one.
Duke Flapjack 19 Haz 2024 @ 14:23
Update? What did you do? I love this mod but I didn't think I'd ever see any more updates of it!
webbie33 18 Kas 2023 @ 16:51
Can't recall if I've used anything from this mod before, but in my current play through I have a nice seaside town where the "Offshore Pub" works perfectly. However, I have a couple issues.

First, the only way to supply the pub is by ship. Because there is only a path connection, supply by truck simply won't work. Okay, fine, I setup a tiny ship to supply the alcohol and all is well.

Second, with Crime & Justice enabled, there doesn't appear to be a way for police cars to patrol the pub. I watch as the unpatrolled crimes keeps rising. This is a problem.

How to build offshore bar (this with wooden curved path)? Because there is no road connection, construction office doesn't recognise it.
Dixie Country 10 Mar 2023 @ 15:45
2. Wooden grain elevator port, silo (~300 m long) with rail connection to the wooden small grain elevator in the end of the pier.

4. Wooden oil loading/unloading pier (300 m to 600 m long)

5. Jetty's and breakwaters structures would be great decorations to place near the piers.

It would be great if you would make a 1900's era North-America style collection of deep-water Piers.

Idea I got from early 1900's Houston Ship Chanel

Small river ports (cargo stations and different types of storage's with water and land access) with that can be placed at the river banks. For all types of cargo. (Variation in length of ports, for ships up to ~250 m long)

1. Very long deep-water pier (Cargo Station) 500 m up to ~1000 m long with a double track railroad going to the end of pier. In the wider end part of the pier could have: Teamster office and facilities an small cranes.
In the coastal end part : double railroad track, road connection , 4 vehicle parking spaces, 4 factory connections (Single FC. directed out of the both sides and two going straight).

The general purpose dock can load vehicles onto ships if it's connected to a vehicle store.
The others probably can't.
LOLCL 7 Oca 2023 @ 17:31
Can these ships pick up vehicles from these docks? Having a hard time getting a ship to pick up vehicles at one of these docks. Love your mod btw.
Fiend  [yaratıcı] 5 Oca 2023 @ 12:21
@Esunisen I don't think I have any control over that. Does the vanilla liquid harbour work the same way?
Esunisen 5 Oca 2023 @ 5:31
Can you change prirority when pulling liquids from ship ? Trucks take from dock fuel storage first :/

@Terge try Small Jetty, it should do what you need.
Terge 24 Eyl 2022 @ 0:37
Can you make a version of the small Cargo one for Passengers please
hallucinogender 21 Haz 2022 @ 6:50
I can't get ships to go to any of the buildings in this mod that ships should be able to get to. There appears to be plenty of space for ships to move around, but they refuse to recognise the building as being connected.
Autumn 26 Şub 2022 @ 22:21
Any chance the small boat yard could be changed a bit? The required spaces for water and land are way closer together than on a vanilla harbor, and it makes it very difficult to place it on any coastline that isn't perfectly straight.
Laki 6 Şub 2022 @ 13:16
Samll dry bulk and liquids harbors would make a great addition
Crackhood 18 Eki 2021 @ 22:40
could you disable fires on seawalls, thanls
wseslaw 16 Eki 2021 @ 12:09
I've got a kind of a solution. Just changed some variables. Like this for small waterfront open store:
$HARBOR_OVER_WATER_FROM -8
$HARBOR_OVER_TERRAIN_FROM 3.1
--$HARBOR_OVER_TERRAIN_FROM 0.1
$HARBOR_EXTEND_AREA_WHEN_BULDING 16
--$HARBOR_EXTEND_AREA_WHEN_BULDING -70

It can be tweaked but in general it allows to build harbours in quite rough and steep coasts
Duke Flapjack 16 Eki 2021 @ 9:36
Seconded. Any "ghost" buildings don't work properly anymore. The docks still work, but you have to have a VERY flat area.
wseslaw 15 Eki 2021 @ 23:14
Harbour Mechanics seems broken after the last update. I cannot build new docks
LIGHTTECH2 17 Tem 2021 @ 0:39
so lovely to have a variety of buildings
Lord Bludgeon 15 Şub 2021 @ 17:31
How about a waterfront dry-bulk loading dock... or side-loading docks of any kind that would be more River-friendly? :steamhappy:
Fiend  [yaratıcı] 11 Şub 2021 @ 3:44
This is to make it easier to align with other waterfront buildings. I am going to release some more waterfront walls soon, and it very hard to place them next to each other if they have a footprint, so I removed it.
KaAarl den StoOre 11 Şub 2021 @ 3:36
For some reason the dock can be placed anywhere in mye game at the moment. Weird.
BSQ 2 Ara 2020 @ 11:37
Good mod, but shame there is no small waterfront for liquids.
Comrade Chumbucket 9 Eyl 2020 @ 13:41
I was so looking for a mod like this, thanks!
Duke Flapjack 5 Eyl 2020 @ 7:42
One issue: the vanilla small boats simply do not fit. The docks are too small for them.
aantono 13 Ağu 2020 @ 8:44
can we add pedestrian paths to the rural seawalls, so they can be built for resources?
Duke Flapjack 4 Ağu 2020 @ 15:49
I would really like to see each of the waterfront stores get a factory connection so we can use them in combination with the dock. Right now, I feel a little compelled to set up two storage "clusters," one for local, which uses the waterfront buildings, and one for export/imports which connect to the dock.

Still, I get quite a bit of use out of this! I like these assets a lot. They are quite well done.
KaHel 31 Tem 2020 @ 14:36
Nice, may I propose adding conveyor input to aggregate store?
MTandi 21 Tem 2020 @ 6:52
Awesome pack with high quality assets!
fake214 16 Tem 2020 @ 0:11
Perfectly!
It would be nice to have a same style terminal for liquid cargo.
Fiend  [yaratıcı] 13 Tem 2020 @ 8:21
Lighthouse added.
Fiend  [yaratıcı] 10 Tem 2020 @ 14:47
Another house added.
Fiend  [yaratıcı] 8 Tem 2020 @ 2:59
Thanks. Fixed!
aantono 7 Tem 2020 @ 18:57
In order for self-heating to work you also need to add $CIVIL_BUILDING to the script file.
Fiend  [yaratıcı] 7 Tem 2020 @ 15:45
Added a waterfront house.
Luca_K04 7 Tem 2020 @ 9:16
THANKS!

Luca_K04 7 Tem 2020 @ 5:51
Which ships you must have for the "small aggregate unloader"?
The defaul cargo is too big for it...
Fiend  [yaratıcı] 5 Tem 2020 @ 17:02
Has it run out of fuel? Unfortunately ships cannot refuel at a store, only at a cargo dock.
Send it to a boat yard, then to a place where it can refuel.
Since the last update it seems that ships run out of fuel all the time, so this is more of a problem now.
Messeno 5 Tem 2020 @ 16:05
I don't understand a ship docked at the small open store. It doesn't load any resources, is this normal?
BabyCakes 11 Haz 2020 @ 8:14
Is it possible to get a aggregate loader as well?
Duke Flapjack 6 Haz 2020 @ 15:28
Wow! That was a quick turnaround! Very nice! Too bad I can only thumbs up this once.
Fiend  [yaratıcı] 6 Haz 2020 @ 15:23
Added a boat yard.
Duke Flapjack 6 Haz 2020 @ 6:54
Oh, and a small oil unloader would also be awesome. That would really round-out the missing small harbor buildings!
Duke Flapjack 6 Haz 2020 @ 6:37
Now perhaps a small port? That is the one thing that nobody has seemed to make. The big concrete monstrosity that is the vanilla port doesn't at all fit.
kromgart 4 Haz 2020 @ 21:51
Well, that was quick, thanks a lot!
Duke Flapjack 4 Haz 2020 @ 17:44
Oh yeah! That is a sexy dock! Nice!
Fiend  [yaratıcı] 4 Haz 2020 @ 16:54
Ok, I've added a general dock with two connections and a pipe.
Duke Flapjack 2 Haz 2020 @ 9:53
Mauser's textures don't match anybody elses. They are all dingy and drab. I'd love to see your aggregate loader turned into a GP harbour.
