i just noticed it is not for RE as the cpu and power are not sufficient. Nevertheless, I'm sure it is a great ship in vanilla. It is compact enough to fit in a cv hanger, has a efficient use of space, and it is very aesthetically appealing. nice work :steamhappy:

thx

updated for v1.2.1 = fixed the o2, by adding 2 airtight boxes instead of the sloped blocks at the ceiling above armor locker+fridge. the small slope there is what caused the breach with the latest update.

@Curben Justic: if you juggle things around a bit probably. but in such small ship you usally end up with some things missing due to the size.

since the Block for the O2 is shrunk i replaced the Vent with an O2 station. can i fit a med bay in yet?

this is VERY well built. I did rip out the armor and fridge to put in a TP and detector. ended up having to throw a t2 cpu in after that. with new changes the sliders should fix its over manuevering.

Only thing, I believe it fails to be airtight as drills are NOT airtight blocks IINM.

This form and collors are so nice! Should have some love to it and make it independent! Not a full survival option. That would desconfigure it's purpose but only a miner, like industrial stuff :steamhappy: So, a drill turret, maybe two, warp and storage, lots of storage. Ok, maybe O2 tank and fridge, and that's all :steamhappy:

Nice!

I fancied a little Mining CV and found this. Really neat. I saw how it handled. Since I will be close by with a big CV I thought I would change the engines. Then I swapped the Generator. But now I am scratching my head as I cannot do the math for why 502 of both Erest. and Zasc. AFAIK only the Drill M. L uses Eres. and Zasc. So I am reading over for Eres. & Zasc. but under for Neo. Any thoughts anyone?

Upvoted. I love the small size, I dock it to my larger CV.

Ability to adjust pitch and roll amounts in alpha 12 makes this easier to fly. Just have to be careful when using WASD since you can't adjust engine thrust.

it should work, not sure why it's not.
maybe you changed some blocks that seal it to the front drills. sadly drills are not air tight.

Is it just me or is the oxygen not reaching the cockpit?
Lithoboli 30 MAR 2020 a las 15:27
This thing is awesome and compact.
I especially like the view from the cockpit.

thx all

@Kemloor: the overall flightmodel was changed. if you spread the thrusters out a bit you get decent manoeuvrability without rcs.
for the pitman specifily: i first had a rcs in there (+cpu extender, basilcy where the armor locker is and the 16k cargo was only 8k). found with or without rcs it still is very unstable and very zippy, think thats mostly due to the small size and the strong thrusters. since the rcs did not fix tthat and made barely a difference i left it out, but you have space to put a rcs in there if you like ;)

i never understood though, how are you supposed to pilot these things without RCS??? please excuse my noobish question but im really curious

Cool little miner, cheap and efficient!

This could make a perfect replacement to the mosquito which is really old now. It's nice and compact, perfect utility vessel!
