Then like the post directly below you asks, please upload the save. Can't fix something that works fine on my end.

Then like I said to them, you should upload the save with it broken. If I can't see a broken navmesh, then I can't attempt to tweak anything to fix it.

I'll second "eat the big one first"s comment. the left hand side of the y-house breaks when you place any buildable objects in it. This is very consistent and fix navmesh doesn't help.

So is that save broken already for you when you load in?

In all my tests it works fine. On load in it's working, and when placing furniture it works. No navmesh breaks at all. Both with and without my fix mod, and on both the stable and experimental builds of the game.

If it is broken on load in for you, I would suggest checking other mods you may have. Disabling them and then importing as a test, see if it's still broken. Could be a mod conflict bringing the issue back.

If it requires placing something, I would suggest doing so, then uploading that save. As it's not breaking on my end when I place anything.

I would suggest either simply using a different site, or make a thread in the discussions section for the mod. Even if Steam blocks it there, I'll be able to still view the link unlike with comments here.

The temp worked only for a short time, the other one was removed by steam. It does not seem possible to link you a file though the comments in this thread

Looks like there is no file at that link. Not sure if it was just removed since it was a temporary upload, or if it's restricted in some way.

As mentioned several times before, send me a save. For me the house is working fine when I test it, I need a save so I can investigate the navmesh and identify exactly where it's breaking.

Without being able to see the problem in action, there is nothing I can do.

Or you can try opting in to experimental, as there have been reports of it being fixed in vanilla in that version.

This fixes the doorway, but the back left of the Y is now not accessible. (the side without the stairs or the door) Tried in multiple saves.

Then you should post a save of it broken. As I can't investigate or fix an issue I can't trigger myself without an affected save to test on.

Did you try the experimental build of the game?

I'd also appreciate a save of it broken if you or anyone can provide it, as I can't trigger the glitch on my end.

Sadly, this did not work for me, however, I following the advice of RocknGames, I moved the research bench I had built but could not reach to just barely straddle the line where the pathing was broken, and that seemed to fix it.

As long as you didn't own it prior to import, no. If you did own it already, you'd need to either import the save without buildings, or delete it with the editor before importing.

You could also try opting in to the experimental build. It sounds like it might be fixed there.

Otherwise, if you still can't get it working, you can post the save so I can investigate the navmesh.

Think the save was already overwritten. But installing your mod, then leaving the town for a day or so and coming back seemed to fix it. I was unable to path into the northwest corner lvl 1 of Y-house.

While searching for a fix I read how building something between the two sections fixes it. That did work. I wonder if those who have fixed games coincidentally did that too?

I had already placed several armor, weapon and crossbow parts storage, a research bench, leather and cloth tables, ceiling and spotlights and then removed all squad before I donwloaded this. it works like a charm in 2022

Unfortunately, without knowing why it's breaking, not much I can do. I've never been able to get it to break again for me. If you've got a save with it broken, feel free to share it, I can load it up and look at the navmesh.

2021 update: this mod still is not working. And the other mod that "fixes" Y-House and Bughouse breaks them.

I really just want to fix that one building in Black Scratch, it's the only building in the whole game that matters to me before I build a base lol

there may be a work around when it reglitches.Use shift-f 12 and move an object you have placed inside (only needs a lil movement) then hit fix stuff and exit the screen.Save your game then reload it.Seems to work till you build something else inside and it clitches again

It almost has to be related to the placement of objects again. Placing an object in the area can completely screw the pathfinding up again. Not a lot can really be done, as the area seems to be a complete mess pathfinding wise. :/

PS - There's still a tiny lower-left corner in the left-wing interior of the "y" house that will bug, but only if the player attempts to build something in/on it. Once that happens, the lower area of that left hand wing of the "y" bugs out and becomes unreachable. Still much appreciated, though!

This fix works great! No issues with pathing or building in or on top of this Y-house in Black Scratch! The Wall sections are fine and characters and NPCs navigate them without issues.

MVP Award worthy "fixit" mod. ;)
