thanks for this - previously i would keep rerolling characters till i found a name i like - and then set up my character - this is much better :-)
All these are very rare and very strange errors .. Usually this alludes to incorrect work with memory - somewhere deep in the game engine, or even in the OS (in our case, java-machine).
Why am I saying all this? Perhaps, in your case, for the same mysterious reasons, at some point the file with this translation string simply did not load. And you could just restart the game, without changing the file))
"Or maybe Mac is more strict than PC?" - I work on Linux, and they and Mac are kind of a little relative, so it’s unlikely..

You need to replace that with UI_EN {
Not sure why it worked for me before. Maybe the last update made it more strict about what you name the dictionaries? Or maybe Mac is more strict than PC?
