If I only want wind magic and not earth or water, will this mod still work even though it's no longer supported?

is there any way to have the original wind cloak spell? the new one doesnt seem to be very effective at the original at flinging people away. even if i duel cast it which only increases its range. I have yet to see it actually fling someone away. If not then you should amp it up so it works almost like the original with the same damage effects.

After some digging, you can. They seem to like to use vanilla spells more, but I've seen them use waterball. Thanks for the quick response. These spells are great.

You might be able to add the spells to a follower through console commands, but I'm not sure on that. I may create a patch for UFO in the future, because I also use that mod, but It will probably be awhile before I get around to it.

These mods are great but Is there any way to give these spells to companions? UFO doesn't let you teach custom spells to companions.

You're so cool! I love your mods! I always loved Wind, Water and Earth so much more than the basic Fire, Ice and Lightning. Is there anywhere I can donate?

One more thing, wind should be extremely fast. Ash cloack replacing Whirlwind cloack is wasting a spell, why not leave both? Someone may prefer to use only wind but also want to do all quests. It is ofcourse up to you but the spells are brilliant so why waste one?

Wind can still be independent all I said is it should work well with fire. Earth is independent too, it cannot have many combinations. Only water should be weaker since it removes the purpose of ice if they have the same damage. A healing spell for water would still be good. This were only suggestions, the mod is still brilliant, this spells are necessary and should have been in the game to begin with. I just suggested some added realism, since elements tend to affect each other to an extreme point in reality, especially wind since it basically controls everything else.

I like the way the spells work now and won't be changing them except to make the secondary effect of water spells stop magic and stamina regeneration completely for a brief time. The last thing I want to do is relegate my spells to only be useful for supporting other spells. Also, I've never had any problems with the knock back effect of the wind spells other than the ocassional enemy that will get back up after he's been killed and walk in place. The unrelenting force shout can cause the same problem and it doesn't happen often enough to warrant taking that effect out all together.

why does wind magick travel as slow as shock? Shouldn't wind be second fastest to shock?

Sorry for the essay but I always wondered why Skyrim did not have this spells, so I gave as many ideas for it as I could. Hopefully reading them will not be too boring.

Water can have a unique healing spell and unique heal other spell, to make it more usefull, stronger versions of the basic healing spell would be usefull since you can use it continously and also regain your stamina with your health, same for your allies when you heal them.

This is a brilliant mod but I am hoping the complete pack will be based more on reality and take into consideration that throwing enemies is not always good. Maybe make one wind spell for throwing and the rest have the abilities I mention, like increased damage when shot with the flames spell or causing weakness to fire for the sake of combining it with other ranged fire spells.

Air can combine with everything but has less effect than with fire. There can even be a wind and fire combo such as flame tornado, earth and fire can have something like lava. Water should have less damage than all other magick. Earth needs other perks like Wind has. Ice can cover the damage difference anyway for water but water will be a better support spell than main spell since it cannot have as much damage as Fire, Wind, Earth, Shock or its hardened version wich is Ice.

Why not make water create a weakness to shock and wind create a weakness to fire? That way the player can combine all of them. Shoot water and wind then shock and fire. Throwing enemies is sometimes a bad thing since skyrim is glitched to an extreme point. Water can only increase stamina and magicka, by itself it has no negatives other than damage when shot with alot of power and being dangerous near electricity. Water cloack could increase stamina regeneration too. Earth can combine with fire. So this elements should have those abilities instead since in reality you cannot combine everything wich means water and shock should be the only water combo. Wind can strengthen water but is more effective with fire. Earth literally only combines with fire.

Earth magic is basically done, I'm currently putting the finishing thouches on it. However, I'm not going to be releasing it as it's own mod, instead I'm going to release it combined with water and wind. I'm also going to be adding new features to the combined mod, such as enemies that use the new spells and atronachs for the new magic types. So, it's still going to be a few more weeks until it's available.

Man this is sooooo awesome, the only thing that makes me don´t subscribe to this is the fact that i need the DLC to download it. But, if this mod played on Skyrim(no DLC required) i would totally download that.(have the water destruction spells mod, waiting for the earth destruction spells mod:steamhappy:)

Earth magic ideas:
spray type spells - mud or sand streams
bolt type spells - stones/boulders (size relative to spell strength)
rune spell - stalagmite
wall - stalagmite wall
master level - sand storm
special effect - temporarily reduce target's armor rating because stones can crack and bend armor, and sand and mud can erode it

love these mods, but i can only buy Rapids from the water magic mod after i started to use this one as well.

If you need earth magic ideas, i've got a few. A rock throw spell would be the obvious one. Master spell either be earthquake, or a GIANT bolder. Maybe have one epell shoot a stalagmite/tite whatever they're called. ... Heh, this is actually harder than I thought, but there's some base ideas to work with at least. ... Unless you already had them.

I had wind magic a while and it was working normally. but now despite the fact the perks exist on the skill tree, no vendor actually seems to sell any wind magic tomes :/

I love your Wind and Water magic spells! The only problem is that I just did the Master level Destruction quest and yet I haven't been able to find either of the Wind or Water Master level spells =( Is there a solution or am I out of luck? Still an awesome mod though!

I'm really loving your water and wind magic... I've had an idea I was brainstorming and was wondering if you wanted part of it. I have little experience modding but am willing to take a swing at it, or hand it to you if you want it. This mod would be huge for the mage comunity. I want to do something kind of like the magic system of Fable 3. If you dual wield two different spells you get something unique. I wanted to do this because why should I only get a dual buff dualing the same spell? Of course we'd match up by novice, apprentice, ect, and these are both streams, projectiles, etc. I really think your mods incorporated in this could make it great, dualing fire and water makes steam, fire and electric make plasma, water and electric make a continuous electricution effect, wind and fire you get a flame gale. I think you get the idea. I don't wanna make new tomes, I want to make combos in dual wielding a thing. What do you think?

Once earth magic is complete, I'll be relasing a mod that contains earth, water and wind and they will all use the vanilla perks. You can also get a perkless version on the nexus that is combined with the water magic mod.
