I only have 3 suggestions, maybe make the god bigger, make the god jump higher, and maybe add a weapon option? Do what you will.
Either that or I would upload them as completely separate mods so that there's no need to download all the different maps if you prefer to play one specific kind for instance.
I'll look into making separate mods with changes such as no music, no slow-motion, etc... probably sometime in the next few weeks. I'll post another comment when I've uploaded them, and I'll have them all link to each other in the descriptions so you can find them from there.
- I could definitely do something with decreasing the amount that they tilt, definitely wouldn't remove it all the way but I can mess around with it and see what looks nice.
- Unfortunately there isn't much I can do with the second suggestion, as we're limited here by our own reaction time combined with how the combat entirely is set up. I could try upping the attack speeds more than I already have and see how that goes, but that's about as far as I think I can go with that one.
- I wasn't really trying too hard on either characters, just making them darker and lighter and reusing the models as the mod was originally put out to test functionality and not looks. However, now that the core is carved out I can definitely go back in and work on putting a fresh coat paint on everything :)
- When mortal is sent flying, the high velocity tells the game to tilt the character sideways in anticipation of landing, but it looks a bit silly in this mod (could be fixed by making mortal tumble longer before attempting to land)
- The God can move fast, but its speed is undermined whenever it goes for an attack, because the rabbit must slow down to normal speed whenever it winds up a kick or punch. I'm not sure if it's possible to program, but it would be more satisfying if the God could zip a mile away, zip back and slam into the opponent without losing momentum like you see in superhero fights.
- In terms of looks the God and mortal are quite similar. Perhaps making the God's eyes completely white would make it look more intimidating and god-like. Or glowing (?)
However, you can also simply scrap the Object Terrain mod if you simply insert the terrain information found in the linked object (from the mod) inside the terrain information of your level.
