@not_requested49 That's an error I've never seen before. Yes, you should unsubscribe from this add-on. And after unsubscribing open the game to make sure the add-on is gone. I don't know if that'll fix it though.

'Glass shard' v1.2 was not installed.
It is possible that this add-on is already installed and in use.

@not_requested49 Move "glass shard (old).vpk" from the archive to the "addons" folder (...\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons) and open it with addon installer (...\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\bin\addoninstaller.exe).

i can open the ZIP file itself just fine but when i try to open the "old version" it just says

Error: Error opening file.

System Error (0x00000005):
Access is denied.

@not_requested49 ZIP file is basically a compressed package containing files. Inside the package from gamemaps you'll find both versions of the add-on (this one and glass shard only).

Are you getting some sort of error when you're trying to open or download the ZIP archive? What exactly does it say? Can you share a screenshot of it?

oh i found the thing that says its in a zip, but i dont know what that means and i tried downloading it and it says i dont have access to the file?

@not_requested49 It was updated because I wasn't happy with it.

And check the patch notes. I considered the fact that some of the 450 people may not want this add-on completely changed. That's why I bundled both old and new versions together on GameMaps.

why was this changed? is it possible to just have the glass shard back? the cleaver is nice and all but why not just have a version thats only glass shard one thats only cleaver and one thats both?
