well i use a 360 contoller. so i equip it, then sheath it then unsheath it? i normally dont use a extra weapon if i use a torch or this glowlight. i like the idea and you should add more colors

yes, you can, but at the moment you equip it, you may be locked in place, which is easily fixed by unsheathing your blade. This is caused by the fact that they are unlimited and run out. For some reason, the game does not like the idea of it. It's easily fixed with the click of your mouse however. Hope I helped :)

mistaken author, candlelight is a low energy spell, it is probably magelight you are thinking of. I like immersion, but find it difficult or ineffective to block with torches and despise their odd inability to burn away webs or light oil fuel which truly makes them just plain goofy. Now a flamtongue (flaming sword in yellow or blue fire) would be quite convenient - even weapons with glowing runes that gave out a smigen of light would be of use / even a shield of that matter. Otherwise I just 'ah screw this' and turn up my gamma to max setting.

I believe there is NOT a level one spell. I do believe youre getting it mixed up with the level 10 spell, candle light, in which depletes your magika like a bitch might I add. The torches are good and all, but they run out and theyre not the easiest things to find. Where as these lights last forever and come in four cool colors.

I belive they have a level 1 spell for this :P
