I agree, custom rules for all worked wonders for replay ability and challenge, a shame that no one offers this content.

could you please make a mod like the old "custom rules for all 1.9" mod. it added custom paths like facist, democratic or communist to ALL the standard nations without these options.

So you could choose as sample that persia goes communist or afghans, or whatever. Colombia going facist. And so on.

It was a very important mod.

Sorry everyone, I got fed up with Paradox's shitty coding and focus trees and decided not to continue with the mod. If anyone wants to continue/expand on my work, feel free, its all in the mod folder when you download it.

Really like this mod. Wondering if you can expand on what you did for Mexico, though - where a country has multiple paths for a given ideology, an option to choose randomly just from that subset. For example, Fascist Japan can go north against Russia or south against Allies; allow an option to choose one of those but not communist/unlaigned/democratic Japan.

I would love it if it was also available for releasable nations. I would like to be abtle to choose the path Iraq or Belgium for example takes. Thanks!

I just got another week off from school due to COVID, so I've decided to try to update the mod. I can't really afford the new dlc rn so I can't update the new country apths unfortunately. I'll try to fix everything and get BftB out though.

So,my test is showed that in Mexico is Cristeros Rebelion, British dont go Decolonisation

So,Historical Focus is a ploblem. When you do Historical Focus, Manjuria(Japanese Qing) go for Independence branch, British go Decolonisation, Yugoslavia balkanise itself.

When you do Turkey, I found that in the vanilla game if you set the A.I. to restore The Ottoman Empire, it never does cause it doesn't invite the Ottoman loyalists back, so maybe fix that, also, I hope your doing ok.

im fine, just taking a break. School n shit. Ill fix the numerous bugs in June and move onto BftB after that. Dissecting HOI4 through modding shows how fundamentally broken a lot of it is which is disheartening to say the least but I'll keep trying to make it better

Some Neutral countries turn communist when running a default game.
or when I run a game with a small change not focussed on the chinese warlords, the chinese warlords were mainly the ones turning communist while having them on default. Saw this first happen with Shanxi.

I think there need the two paths for Yugoslavia: Accept the Demands, Refuse the Demands.

Hello, I found a bug.
When Yugoslavia joins the Tripartite pact, she accepts Britain demands and open focus "End the Regency".

Don't know what's happening, but some neutral countries keep turning to communism.

Oh, I found one bug, but I think it's a vanilla one. USA employs the Mobile Warfare expert instead of the Superior Firepower expert. (SF is the default US doctrine).

Did you add new paths for Yugoslavia, Romania and USA? Because all I see is the old ones...

UPDATE IS OUT! I completed manchukuo and USA, and redid Romania and Yugoslavia. There is an annoying bug where I cant view the steam version only my local version so i dont even know if it uploaded right lol. As always let me know about any bugs.

Oh right, Yugoslavia got a huge change in their focus tree. Also, Romania got a minor change, but you should change that too in case the AI goes crazy. They moved Michael's coup AFTER going fascist, so you cannot do the coup whenever you want now.

Ive been delayed cus I started from scratch with yugoslavia. They have a lot of paths now so I gave them three game rules instead of 1; one for each layer of their political tree. I think It'll be really good.

Hm... maybe an option could be not to go down the democratic path? The middle branch of the left-most tree.
Also, their "alternate" path needs change. You should program it so they go to "Subjugate the Warlords" ASAP without wasting time on crap, so if a Warlord says so, they can annex them before Japan declares war.

also does anyone think Nationalist China needs any other paths. Their tree is shit and only has two paths which are already in the vanilla paths

Love the mod but the there is a bug where it deletes basic tank designer and political advisors from most countries
